Project Management is a complex framework that is built around a number of activities and
processes which lay like the puzzle pieces. Project integration management helps in putting all
these pieces together into a cohesive whole and ensure the success of a project. Through the

This course covers the area of risk management in the project context. It highlights the
importance of risk management and the need for project managers to think ahead in this
regard. It contains essential risk management theory and concepts applicable to project
environments including project risk planning, preparation and response. It also overviews the
areas of risk identification, assessment, monitoring and control. Qualitative and quantitative
risk analysis techniques will be presented to students within this course.

2. Course Main Objective


Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

 To understand Project Risk Types and Project Life Cycle


 To provide students with the fundamentals and essentials of Project Risk Management.
 All levels of Project Risk Management and Mitigation tools and techniques
 Project Risk Mangement Course is based on Project Risk Types occurs during proejct
life cycle, pre-project activities and post-project activities. Events which casuse project
to be delayed, overbudgeted, damage quality and create hurdles in meeting
stakeholder’s requirements; need to be managed to comple the project efficiently and
effectively. Risks are classified and students should be equipped with appropriate tools
and techniques to mitigate these risks.
