Notes
1- The total inlet water in June was 169 ML, compared to 174 ML in May. There has also been an increase in outlet water. Outlet
water has increased by 1.04%, reaching 158 ML in June. As a result, plant efficiency decreased to 93%, down from 94% in May 2024.
2- The total water used in backwash decreased this month, amounting to 2280 KL in June. However, sludge removal is higher than
expected, indicating that the chemical dosing in the plant is not proper.

Notes
1- Turbidity at the inlet was above 10 NTU most of the time. Outlet turbidity was below 1 NTU for the majority of the time. There was
a spike in outlet turbidity on the 1st and 22nd of May. The average turbidity reduction for the month was 89%.
2- The inlet and outlet pH was always between 7 and 8.
3- RC A was also below the benchmark. It was 0.3 ppm in June.

Rapid Sand Gravity Filter-6 91 1 24
Notes
1- Efficiency and Maintenance: Rapid gravity filter-5 has the highest efficiency and the shortest backwash time, making it the most
efficient overall. Rapid gravity filter-2, despite having the lowest efficiency, requires the same amount of backwashing as Rapid
gravity filter-4, which has a relatively higher efficiency.
2- Filters with higher efficiency generally require less frequent and shorter duration backwashes, which can imply lower operational
costs and maintenance requirements.
