Founder & Chairman Emeritus
J. C. Chaudhry is the Founder & Chairman Emeritus at Aakash Educational Services Limited
(AESL). He has been the Director of the Company from October 15, 2007 and Chairman &
Managing Director of the Company from April 1, 2008 and Chairman of the Company from
June 21, 2021. Being one of the promoters, he has been shouldering the responsibility for the
overall supervision, direction and management of the Company. After gaining a Bachelor’s
degree in Science from Punjab University and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the
University of Jammu, he earned a Master of Science degree in Botany from the Birla Institute
of Technology and Science, Pilani, Rajasthan.

His vast experience in the education sector includes working as Principal at Government
(Comp.) Model Senior Secondary School, Matiala, New Delhi and Government (Comp.)
Model Co-Ed Senior Secondary School, Vikaspuri, New Delhi; as PGT (Biology) at Hansraj
Model School, New Delhi; as lecturer at Vaish College, Bhiwani.

J. C. Chaudhry has received various awards for his contribution to education and society at
large including the prestigious Dr. S. Radhakrishnan Memorial National Teachers Award
2002 for the services rendered to schools and community. In addition, he has received
the Person of the Year Award 2015-16, the World's Greatest Leaders- India 2015-16 and Life
Time Achievement Award in 2017 by Asia One. He was also presented with Global
Education Leaders Award 2018 for "Shaping the Dreams of Millions of Medical &

Mr. Aakash Chaudhry is the Co-Promoter and Co-Founder at Aakash Educational Services
Limited (AESL). He possesses extensive experience in strategic, operating, business and
administrative areas and has been responsible for the overall business, management and
direction of the company in his last assignment as Managing Director of AESL.

Before commencing his journey at AESL, he worked with top IT companies of India such as
Infosys Technologies and Cognizant Technology Solutions. Passionate about addressing the
needs of deserving students, he worked dedicatedly towards providing focused and quality
education across the nation through effective delivery channels.

Mr. Aakash transformed AESL from a neighbourhood well known coaching centre into an
established a large national level corporate test prep brand & company, providing cutting-
edge and niche educational services. He established new-age systems, inducted processes and
methods for efficient operations, onboarded top talent, developed research & development in
academics & training, built technological advancements, introduced automation and effective
sales & marketing processes. He ensured that AESL’s classroom, hybrid & digital services

Tests and Examinations

A series of tests and examinations are conducted at regular time intervals for each of our
courses at our Aakash Centres to evaluate our students and prepare them for facing the
various Board and other Competitive Examinations. We have developed the “Test Series”,
which includes fortnightly tests and term Examinations.

 For students enrolled in Aakash Medical, we conduct the All India Aakash Test Series
periodically, depending on the school Examination pattern.
 For students enrolled in Aakash IIT-JEE, we conduct the Success Magnet Test Series
and the All India Aakash Test Series on a periodic basis, in addition to subjective tests
depending on the school Examination pattern.
 For students enrolled in Aakash Foundations, we also conduct periodically All India
Aakash Test Series, Annual Syllabus Tests, and Mock Tests, in addition to the
NTSE / Olympiad tests conducted based on the schedule of the Examinations.
Question papers for the Examinations of various courses are prepared in accordance with the
Examination patterns prescribed by the respective Boards governing such courses. We
provide our students with a printed model answer paper after each Examination, along with
the marking scheme which clarifies their doubts on various questions asked in the
Examinations. We also conduct mock Examinations in a manner in which the various Board
Examinations are conducted to offer a realistic experience to our Medical and Engineering
batch students with an aim to help boost their confidence. Such questions also have a strong
focus on the NEET and JEE Examination patterns, which are consistently renewed, so that
our students are familiar with the Examination patterns and styles. Depending on the
frequency of the Examinations, we set a fresh set of questions, and also conduct National
Assessment Examinations to prepare our students.

To discover and nurture talent, we conduct the ACST, the ANTHE, and the NEST. The
ACST is generally conducted during weekends as scheduled, aimed at students in Class 8 to
12 and who could not make it for the ANTHE and NEST. The ANTHE is generally
conducted in the last week of October and is aimed at students in Class 8 to 10 while the
NEST is conducted in April and aimed at students in Class 9, 10, 11 & 12. We provide
scholarships for qualifying students from these tests to enroll in our programs.

All India Aakash Test Series (AIATS):

The AIATS is conducted for students at Aakash Centres across India, giving them the
opportunity to test their knowledge at an all-India level for both Aakashians and non-
Aakashians. The test papers prepared by Aakash faculty members are aimed at preparing
students for the actual Entrance Examinations allowing them to benchmark their performance
against other students. These tests also help us identify and attract students in Class 11 and 12
with the potential to score well and make selections in their desired Medical or Engineering
course to enroll in our courses.
