REFLECTIVE JOURNAL

Discrete Mathematics is an important subject to take for engineering students because it could be useful in many aspects nowadays especially in many computer applications and many other more. For me, it requires more time for discussions as well as demonstrations, examples and applications because sometimes we couldnt cover up a certain topic or lessons clearly for there is not much time. In the placement in syllabus, there is not much concern for it because it is more appropriate in the third year because they have more experiences in its applications like in computer programming applications taken during second year and any other mathematics subjects that has connection in this subject. Many students said that this subject is not that easy but with the help of our intelligent and handsome professor, I could cope up with the subject easily but sometimes I find him too fast in discussing some topics and thats why sometimes I find some topics that is hard for me. But even though sometimes he is fast in discussing he discusses clearly each topic and gives very challenging quizzes and examinations in the end in of each topic and thats why I am forced to study each lessons very well because we always expect a very challenging test in every topics and lessons we covered up every meeting. Above all, he is a good teacher in the way he is teaching his students with all his desired for them to learn about the subject he taught in his own natural way of teaching, with being true to his self and being concerned to his students. And thats why we want to thank our professor, have more power and keep up the good works. In this subject, Ive enhance my knowledge and ability to think and analyze more mathematical problems in concerned with this subject because there is many challenging topics and lessons in this subjects that requires more analysis rather than understanding the concepts only. And I am being challenged with every test that our professor gives and thats why I am being thrilled sometimes to study each covered lessons in every meeting and practice to solve some problems regarding each topic. In the end of this subject, I assure that Ive understand the concept of each lessons we cover up and learn many things from our professor hopefully I would pass this subject.
