PAMBANSANG BUWAN AT ARAW NG PAGBASA

Emcee: Good morning everyone! Today is a day of rejoicing for it marks the month
of reading. Reading is one of the best habits to develop; it strengthens the mental
muscles, helps to improve comprehension and analytical abilities, and increases
imagination and boosts memory.
Nowadays, even though almost everyone can read, people hardly read and,
unfortunately, we are losing our reading culture as a society. That is why we all need
this National Reading Month which is a whole month to help us revive our reading
habits.
Teachers and students, welcome to the pambansang buwan at araw ng pagbasa!
Now, let us stand for a prayer to be led by Ma’am Diasy P. Dominguez. Please
remain standing for the Philippine National Anthem to be conducted by Ma’am Joji
Grace P. Lindayao.
PRAYER and NATIONAL ANTHEM
You may now take your seat. So today is a celebration that encourages reading for
all ages and promotes reading as a key feature for learning, social, and professional
development. As we celebrate the value of reading, it's also important to remember
its connection to us, that with this we are able to understand and learn things in this
world we stand.
At this point, it is my distinct privilege to call on our very own Mr. Nionito R. Loro for
his words of welcome. A hand please!
WORDS OF WELCOME
Alright! Thank you Sir Loro for that statement of purpose. So without further ado,
may I call on Ma’am Sherry Jane S. Bangay to present the participants by grade
level. Ma’am Sherry? And right after this, parade of book character will follow.

C. Vega for our closing prayer.
CLOSING PRAYER
Thank you everyone! This is Ma’am Mildred your emcee for today saying reading is
like opening a door to a world of knowledge and imagination. It helps us learn new
things, improve our language skills, and be better at understanding the world around
us. So, now that National Reading Month is about to end, let’s celebrate the joy of
reading and encourage everyone, especially the young ones, to pick up a book and
explore the wonders that lie within its pages every day. Happy National Reading
Month!
