Culminating Activity: Dance Concert Grade 12
Dance Concert Overview
A culminating event is when students share the product or result of their investigation towards Philippine Folk
dancing, receive feedback, and celebrate their learning. As students review what they have learned and done,
they remember experiences, synthesize information and determine which aspects are the most important to
share with others.
Each Section are asked to choose one (1) Folk Dance and (1) Social Dance. Then, practice your dance routine
Perfectly for the dance concert. These are the following guide lines for the activity:
1. The dance must be performed in 4 minutes minimum and 7 minutes maximum.
2. All folk dances to be included in the dance concert must be part of previous class sessions and
additional dances are assigned by the teacher.
3. All must wear a PE Uniforms/costume suited for the chosen dance genre and concept/theme.
4. No choreographer must be hired for the dance concert.
5. This will be the rubric for grading:
