The brief
The Basement Project offers several means off support, in various ways
including many locations. Their main location is within Bromsgrove,
from there they have branches across Worcester.
They structure their charity through
donation, food banks and voluntary
work, including hosting regular fund-
raising events. The basement project
not only helps young people with
issues such as money and shelter, but
they also offer mental health support
for those who struggle, they do this
through counselling sessions and
therapy. The Basement Project hopes
to spread more awareness on their
cause and help more people who are
unaware of their support.
They’d like to start off with updating their website or renewing it, they
also hope to have a better logo, something more recognisable. The
Basement Project does advertise their charity on a few social media sites
but hope to expand their page onto sites more appealing to the young
people they hope to help.
They wish to promote their upcoming fundraising events and their ways
on how they support young people in the present.
Requirements:
to successfully do what the Basement Project hopes for we need to look
at what will need to be done before hand. Starting off the Basement
Project would like to look at other charities and take into consideration
what is good about their campaigns, for this research will need to be
conducted. They also wish to have an easily accessible web page, this
will require web development skills, with this written content to feature
on the page and links to social media sites, regular news updates.
The brief

The best way to structure this project is to have assigned roles to people
with the skills to complete the tasks.

My role:
My role in this project is the project manager, I help structure the group
and make sure to help them in any way possible. I make sure everyone is
up to date with their work and has done all the required work that needs
to be done. So far there haven't been many issues, some people struggled
with the topics they could research for their work and etc, form there I
tried giving suggestions or helped them make lists. We had an in person
meeting just to clear any thing anyone was unsure of and discuss any
questions anyone had.
