● Adaptability
I consider that I have this ability, as at different moments in my life, I have
had to completely step out of my comfort zone and adapt to new
circumstances. The most significant experience for me, where I believe I
underwent the most changes and it took the longest to adapt, was when I
decided to become an Au Pair. In 2022, I chose to live a year in the United
States and work as a nanny. I lived with a family that was initially completely
unfamiliar to me; they spoke a different language, I lived in a different
culture, and my environment changed completely. When I first arrived, I had
to change some habits and routines I had in Mexico because the family I
stayed with had different eating habits, did things differently, and had
different rules at home. Then, the language, I remember in the first few days,
I had headaches because I spoke English every day, all day, and I was not
used to that. After that, adapting to the culture, the food my host family ate,
and the holidays they celebrated. It was a significant challenge for me and
although it was difficult at first, my great ability to adapt helped me and I
enjoy my stay in Pennsylvania a lot.

● Leadership
On various occasions in my life, I have had the opportunity to lead teams to
achieve specific objectives. One instance where I was appointed a leader
was with the UTD basketball team. Two years ago, I used to play with the
basketball team and the coach decided to designate me as the "team
captain." On that occasion, my role involved motivating the girls to attend
practices, participate in games and enhance their skills on the court.
Additionally, I was responsible for visualizing and analyzing the games to
provide constructive feedback and lead the team effectively on the court.

● Time management
From a very young age, I had to develop this skill to manage all the activities
I enjoy. I started developing this skill while studying, juggling school,
homework, and basketball training in the evenings. Over time, I added work
to my daily routine. Currently, I organize my time to study, work, do yoga,
handle household chores, school assignments and maintain a social and
family life. My schedule includes working from 8:30-1:15 on weekdays,
attending school from 2:00-8:00, followed by yoga classes from 8:30-9:30.
After it, I do my chores, prepare my food for the next day, walk my dog,
prepare dinner, and get ready for bed by 11:30 for 7-8 hours of sleep.
Saturdays involve work from 10:30-3:30, while evenings on Saturdays and
Sundays are dedicated to spending time with family or friends. Thanks to
effective time management, I can engage in these activities seamlessly.

● Continuous learning
Constantly, I enjoy learning new things or improving my skills. When I used
to play basketball, I would regularly attend summer or winter camps to
enhance my abilities in the sport. I even went to a camp in the United States.
Nowadays, I work teaching English and have pursued several certifications.
In fact, I recently completed a certification called "Knelt" and will take an
exam called "PET" to certify myself in the language. Additionally, after
achieving conversational fluency in English, I started taking French classes.
Currently, I attend classes at school and in the future, I would like to live in
France to practice the language.

● Self-confidence
I consider that since I was little, I have had a lot of confidence in myself. My
parents have supported me in doing what makes me happy, even if it
involves putting in extra effort. One of my biggest goals is to create a travel
agency because I am interested in tourism. I decided to start by organizing
small trips to concerts. At first, I didn't feel very confident about this. I
posted my first trip to attend Taylor Swift's concert and for the first few
weeks, no one asked about the service. However, I trusted in my abilities to
sell services or products and continued promoting the service. Eventually, I
filled a van for nineteen people and three weeks before the concert, all the
packages were sold. Thanks to the confidence I have in myself and
perseverance, I successfully organized my first trip.

● Risk-taking
I am a person who gets excited about new adventures and experiencing
new things, so taking risks is part of my skills. One of the biggest risks I have
taken was working as a nanny in the United States, where I dared to take a
flight and live with a completely unfamiliar family. Additionally, I have
applied this skill every time I decided to offer a service. A significant
example of a time when I chose to take a risk, with the possibility of losing
money, was when I decided to sell beach pants. For the company to provide
me with a wholesale price, I had to purchase a minimum of 20 pants. It was
uncertain whether I could sell them because it is a product available in
various stores and these pants are typically only worn at the beach. I faced
the risk of selling only a few and losing my profit. However, I took the risk,
actively promoted them everywhere, and in the end, I even placed another
order because demand continued to grow.

● Take opportunities
In my opinion, this is one of the skills I have developed the most throughout
my life. Whenever there's an opportunity to sell or start something, I take it.
For example, during the pandemic, after becoming unemployed, I realized
that many parents were struggling with their children, especially in helping
them with English. So, I came up with the idea of offering personalized
English classes and it was a great success. Parents hired me to teach classes
online and in person, while I assisted their children with homework, project
or simply the topics covered in class. I ended up having 12 students, with a
schedule from 4 to 8 and I was earning better than in my previous job.

● Money management
Since I was 12 years old, I enjoyed selling products or earning a scholarship
to make money through my own efforts and buy things I liked. At the age
of 19, my parents stopped giving me money for expenses like going out
with friends or buying something on a whim, so I started organizing the
money I earned at work to cover all my expenses. I have traveled to
different places based on my achievements, transformed my room and
even paid for everything necessary to work as a nanny in 2022.
Currently, I organize my money into three categories. The first is savings,
which I don’t touch unless there's an emergency. This money is earmarked
for potential future international trips or further education, and I currently
have it invested to prevent devaluation. The second is money set aside for
travel. I love going to concerts, festivals, and exploring new places. Finally,
the third category is for my weekly expenses. I use it to pay for gas, weekly
outings, meals and the occasional indulgence.

● Perseverance
One of the skills I possess is independence, and thanks to this, I've
developed perseverance to achieve the goals I set for myself. When I truly
want something, I do everything possible to obtain it. One significant
experience resulting from my perseverance was becoming a nanny in the
United States. Initially, I aimed to go right after high school, but my parents
were going through a divorce and my father didn't support my idea, so I
didn't have the funds. Consequently, I started saving and working to gather
the money, eventually managing to go to the United States after nearly two
years of saving.

● Financial skills:

I worked for 8 months in a restaurant called "De la casa de Don José" located in the
downtown area between Aquiles Serdán.

Here I was in charge of the financials where I did multiple invoices to different
suppliers, inventory and product costing.

The product costing basically reviewed what input had risen in price in order to
make a decision to change suppliers or increase the cost of the product.

I also kept track of the income and expenses made each month, as well as the
expenses that were incurred.

The sales controls of the premises were also carried out, where they were
determined by means of the sales tickets of the establishment.

● Relationship building:

I have spent most of my life and in past jobs building relationships that benefit my
day to day life, as in my old job at Don Jose's house, I was constantly talking to
suppliers of national companies mostly focused on food, so I know the suppliers that
can benefit in the development of our product.

● Decision making:

I developed a market study for a government agency, where they defined their
target audience, their status within the society and also could give space to build
what would be their campaign proposals. I was in charge of that market study
leading my team and the people in my charge to obtain the best result.

● Effective communication

I am able to lead and make mutually beneficial decisions as well as apply assertive
communication correctly.

● Relevant Experience:

I did my internship in a marketing agency where I was in charge of the financial

company Punto Quatro, and I developed both an organizational manual and an
innovation of the web presence of the site. I was making all the decisions in my team
related to the brand development strategy.
● Customer Service

I have worked mostly in customer service both as a host in an exclusive events

company and in restaurants providing customer service.

Therefore, for the project we are developing I consider myself suitable to provide
customer service.

Professional Achievements:

● Continuous improvement:

I have a Canva model constant which has allowed me to constantly innovate each of
the projects I do and look for improvement alternatives.

I have an Itep certificate that accredits a B2 level in English and I have been taking
Saturday classes at FECA for 4 years, which allows me to interact with foreign people
to form alliances and/or expand the market.

Personal Achievements

● Relevant experience:

I have cooked the cauliflower boneless which will help in the process of making them
and thus avoid possible mistakes.

● Time management and adaptability and flexibility

In college my team and I won second place in the sudden 2023. Where we created a
solution to a company and sold it in less than 24 hrs. Where I learned what it was like
to work under pressure and adapt to all the different profiles of each career to reach
a common solution.

● Time management

I know how to prioritize and keep a daily agenda of punctuality which has allowed
me to attend all my daily commitments. It is also a very useful tool to keep track of
all activities successfully.

1) I am a technician in industrial food production

From 2017 to 2020 I studied "Industrial Food Production" at CBTis #130 during my high
school. There I performed physicochemical and microbiological analysis of various foods
groups, as well as studied the legislation and regulations of food production, labeling and
packaging. At the same time, I did practical work and research on food groups such as
dairy, meat, cereals and fruits and vegetables. Thanks to that I can demonstrate
knowledge such as the application of a regulated work area to produce food, the
importance of quality of raw material to produce food, the tools and utensils required to
avoid contamination and the life cycle and characteristics of the food, etc.

2) Certificate in “falco: impulsando lideres”

During my high school, I did my social service at “Centro de liderazgo estudiantil de

Mexico” where I learned, developed and perfected social skills that improve the act of
leading, practicing skills such as self-esteem, security, empathy, communication,
teamwork, internal thinking, social acts, etc.

3) Development of a new food product

As a school project, as a team we developed a product that involved our flavors and
consumer experiences, in which we had to do the packaging and production from
scratch. We developed the melon marmalade, which after doing some research we
discovered that it was not easily found in the city and the flavor was pleasant. This is how
I developed skills in creativity, product development, booth creation and nutritional chart
creation.

4) Mel de miel

In 2020 I decided to take my sewing skills and my love for entrepreneurship and created a
small project called "Mel de Miel" dedicated to the creation of handmade and
personalized sewing items. In this project I worked on skills such as website creation,
web design and content creation, photography, editing, manufacturing tools and
strategies, sales strategies and customer service.

In 2020 I decided to take my sewing skills and my love for entrepreneurship and created a

personalized sewing items. In this project I worked on skills such as website creation,
web design and content creation, photography, editing, manufacturing tools and
strategies, sales strategies and customer service.
Since I was 6 years old, I have always been looking for a way to sell some kind of product
mainly created by me that has been a percentage of my time.

CESA “SOMO BUFALOS”

At the beginning of 2020 I joined the Somos Bufalos project, in which I participated
socially in the campaign, organizing activity and creating strategies to be the select
society of the generation. Weeks later we obtained the expected result and I became in
charge of the "secretary of women's action" in which I develop a strategic plan per
quarter of activities that promote the well-being of the female students of the
institution, further perfecting the skills of organization, leadership, social
communication, commitment and loyalty at all times.

MY CAREER

I am currently a bachelor's student in the "business innovation, marketing area" degree

in which I have put to the test all the skills mentioned above, we have designed and
planned entrepreneurial projects, working on creativity and innovation. Just as we have
created new products that combat problems identified after carrying out research and
market analysis. Work hand in hand with real companies to improve the service and
quality of their businesses and make communication plans for private organizations such
as the Mexican Red Cross Durango delegation. Teamwork has been essential for years, as
has commitment and entrepreneurial development.

Skills and qualities:

• Passion and Vision

I have the vision to continue growing, learning, and maturing to be a better human being
in the future.

• Risk tolerance and management

Due to the variety of jobs that I have had in my working life, I can say that I have a high-
risk tolerance. I have worked as a freelancer, as a private employee, as a government
employee, etc.
I have worked in as many areas and conditions as I could to have as much experience as
possible in most of the areas, I have been in.
I think most of the time, I take a leap of faith and try to get the best outcome with the
conditions I have, trying to have the ability to manage the circumstances that exist
hoping that nothing gets out of control.

• Adaptability and Flexibility

I have the ability to make changes in my habits and routines to being an active part of
wide variety of work environments, each one with different tasks and responsibilities.
I have experience working at points of sale, customer service, telecommunication
services, warehouse, and resource management, working in kitchens and food
environments, design departments, among others.

• Resilience
Resilience has become a characteristic that I have acquired over time due to the
situations I have experienced in my life. I have a good ability to deal with adversity,
problems and emotions. However, that doesn't mean that I can maintain that
characteristic all the time.

• Decision-Making and financial skills

In some of the jobs I have had, I have been given the freedom to make the decisions that
I felt were best for the job at hand. This means that, I was in charge of managing the cash
drawers, making payments, dealing with suppliers and making an efficient cash
distribution.

• Leadership
In my working life I have to develop my leadership skills in two occasions:
- The first one was when I was working as a childcare worker, I was in charge of a
small team of 6 people, and I worked there for almost 4 months.
- The second was when I was working as a barista and, I was in charge of a small
team of four people, I worked there for almost 4 months.
In both places I try to do my best as a leader and as an employee. I try to take the best
decisions about time and resource management.

• Networking and Relationship Building

I have a good ability to have and maintain cordial relationships with the people around
me.

• Continuous Improvement
Because some of the jobs where I worked required high quality standards, both in
products and services, I have always had to be in a process of continuous improvement in
order to perform my tasks in the best possible way.

• Time Management
This is one of my greatest strengths.
I am a person who tends to have everything always on time and on form, in addition to
being able to coordinate tasks and resources in a way in which I can get the most out of
the time available.

• Continuous Learning
I am always open to learn new things. As I already write it, “I have worked in as many
areas and conditions as I could in order to have as much experience as possible in most
of the areas, I have been in.”
My curiosity and desire to learn new things move me to explore all kinds of topics and
works.
• Self-Motivation
Most of the time I lack motivation. But I am working on it.

• Innovation
I am a huge fan of trying thinking of efficient solutions to problems that I believe hinder
the performance of activities. That is something I can say I bring to a work team.

• Effective Communication
This is one of the most important things to achieve good performance as a team. I think
communication, in general, is the key to ensure an environment where all individuals can
be in harmony, in a place where they feel comfortable to be in.
This is the key to give instructions, advice and ask the necessary questions to make sure
that everything is okay with the job and with the people who are working.
