Daily Routine
I wake up very early, around 5:10 am because I work in Santiago, and I must travel two
hours to get to my job. Therefore, I must wake up early. After waking up, I go to the
bathroom and brush my teeth, then I take a shower. After that, I dress casually and prepare
my sandwich to take to work since it's too early to have breakfast at home, and I'm not
hungry anyway.
Around 5:40 am, I leave my apartment to catch the bus that takes me to the bus terminal to
go to Santiago. I buy my ticket in advance and then just confirm it on the website. The bus
takes 10 minutes from my apartment to the bus terminal, but I still must walk 10 minutes
because it doesn't drop me off right at the terminal. My bus departs for Santiago at 6:10 am.
On the bus, I take advantage of sleeping until we arrive in Santiago.
The bus arrives around 8:10 am. Then I take the metro, which takes 10 minutes. After
getting off the metro, I must walk about 5 minutes to get to my work. Once I arrive at work,
I turn on my computer and make a cup of coffee to have with my sandwich. While having
breakfast, I check my schedule for the day and prioritize tasks from most urgent to least
urgent.
My workday starts at 8:30 am. I have lunch around at 1:00 pm and I have a one-hour lunch
break. The great thing is that we have a cafeteria for lunch, so I don't have to bring my
lunch. After that, I work until 5:10 pm. Then I take the metro back to the bus terminal. I
usually take the bus at 5:50 pm and I arrive back at my apartment around 7:45 pm.
After that, I attend English classes until 9:00 pm, then I shower and go to dinner with my
girlfriend. After dinner, we watch TV or play with my pet. At 11:00 pm, I take my pet out
for a bathroom break, and then at 11:30 pm, I get ready for bed. I brush my teeth and
prepare my backpack and clothes for the next day. After that, I go to bed to wake up again
the next day for work.
Rutina de ayer.
Ayer me levante muy temprano, alrededor de las 5:10 am porque trabajo en Santiago y
debo viajar dos horas para llegar a mi trabajo. Por eso debo levantarme temprano. Después
de despertarme me levanté y fui al baño para lavarme los dientes y luego
ducharme .Después de eso, me vestí y prepare mi sándwich para llevar al trabajo, ya que,
es demasiado temprano para desayunar en casa ni tampoco tengo hambre.
Alrededor de las 5:40 am salí de mi departamento para tomar el bus que me lleva al
terminal de buses para ir a Santiago, El autobús tardo 10 minutos desde mi apartamento
hasta la terminal de autobuses, pero aun así tuve que caminar 10 minutos porque no me
deja justo en el terminal. Mi bus salió hacia Santiago a las 6:10 am entonces cumplió con el
horario de salida, pero aun así hubo taco durante el camino.
Cuando llegue a la oficina mi jefe todavía no llegaba, entonces pensé, aprovecho de revisar
mi agenda o ir a preparar mi café, el hambre pudo más, así que fui a preparar mi café para
tomar desayuno. Ayer fue un gran día porque no tuve demasiadas reuniones y pude avanzar
en mis actividades, entonces pude salir más temprano de mi trabajo. Tome el bus a las 5:50
de regreso a viña del mar y aproveche de dormir en el bus.
Cuando llegue a mi casa me conecte a la clase de inglés con mi profesora Natalia y después
finalizada la clase avance en mi proyecto y aproveche de cenar. Finalmente me acosté a las
0:10 am.
Yesterday's Routine:

When I arrived at the office, my boss had not yet arrived, so I thought, I'll take the
opportunity to check my schedule or go make my coffee, but hunger got the best of me, so I
went to make my coffee to have breakfast. Yesterday was a great day because I didn't have
too many meetings, and I was able to make progress on my tasks, so I could leave work
earlier. I took the bus back to Viña del Mar at 5:50 pm and took the opportunity to sleep on
the bus.
When I got home, I connected to my English class with my teacher Natalia, and after the
class ended, I worked on my project and had dinner. Finally, I went to bed at 12:10 am.
