MY AMAZING HOLIDAY
14-yea-old Jack talks about his amazing holiday
Last year I went on an incredible holiday, I visited Australia with my family and I’ve been telling
everyone about it ever since.
We flew to Darwin, in the north of the country. We stayed there overnight and then did some
sightseeing the next day. We went to a museum and spent some time at a gorgeous beach. After
that, we took a new railroad to Alice Springs, right in the middle of the country. 16. . Alice
Springs is a big town surrounded by a desert and mountains, and we did some really cool
activities there. We rode on some camels and even went on a hot air balloon ride. 17. .
After that, we drove down to Uluru. Uluru is also known as Ayers Rock, and it is one of the most
amazing sights in the world. Unsurprisingly, there were lots of other tourists there even though it
is far from other places. 18. .
Next, we took a flight to Sydney. We went on a boat trip on the river through the city and visited
the famous Sydney Opera House. 19. . But it was still a fantastic place to visit and I took some
great pictures there.
We flew home from Sydney and I was very tired after arriving home. Australia is a huge country
and I would love to visit again. 20. . Hopefully I will be returning again in the near future.

FLYING CARS OF THE FUTURE
It can be hard to keep up with all the new technology today. The latest example of science

A model flying AirCar successfully completed a test flight between two cities in Slovakia. The
