CONDUCT-script

1 day prior to assessment: call the assessment center to confirm the schedule of the
assessment

You can go early if you want: Good morning Ma’am, I am Mr. __________ show the appointment
letter.. I am the appointed accredited assessor for the assessment in TECHNICAL DRAFTING
NCII scheduled tomorrow. I am here to check if all the materials, tools, equipment and facilities
are ready. [ASSUME DOING THE INSPECTION]
Ma’am, I have seen that everything is ready for tomorrow’s event. I will be back before 8am
tomorrow. Thank you.

A. ORIENTATION

1. Introduction: Good morning candidates! Welcome to [NAME OF] assessment center. My


name is __________, an accredited competency assessor for TECHNICAL
DRAFTING NC II. Here is my ID as a proof of my accreditation.
2. Acknowledgement: I would like to acknowledge the presence of Mr. ____________________,
our competency assessment center manager, Ms. ___________________________,
our TESDA representative from TESDA provincial office.
Good morning sir, good morning ma’am.

Candidates don’t worry about their presence. They are here to oversee the
conduct of competency assessment and to check if the conduct is in
accordance with the prescribed competency assessment methodology and
procedures. They will not assess you.

3. Attendance/admission: Before we start I would like to check your attendance. Please bring
your application, admission slip together with your ID for verification of your
information. To truly validate that you are the information: such as your
signature, personal info. Please when signing your attendance sheet make
sure that the signature that you use in your application form match with our
attendance.

I have here with me your accomplished application form and self-assessment


guide. That given by the Tesda Represantative. This is an indication that you
know and can perform all the units of competency enumerated in this
qualification.

A THE JOB THAT IS RELATED ON THIS QUALIFICATION..

5. method of assessment: to determine your knowledge skills AND ATTITUDE.


for TECHNICAL DRAFTING NC II, you will be assessed thru WRITTEN ,demonstration and oral
questioning.

6. tasks: TECHNICAL DRAFTING NC II has full qualification with 4 COC or certificate of


competencties. Where you are required perform the ff tasks:
 Draft Structural Layout and Details
 Draft Electrical and Electronic Layout and Details
 Draft Mechanical Layout and Details
 Draft Sanitary and Plumbing Layout and Details
 Prepare computer aided drawings

participants, oversee the assessment proper and to make
judgement base on the evidences…

7. ass result: The result of the assessment can be either you ‘competent or not yet competent.
If you have doubt about the result of the assessment or you are satisfy with it, you
have 24 hours. To a maked an appeal. All you have to do is write a letter indicating
the name of assessor, name of assessment center, date of assessment, nature of
complain, sign it and submit to the TESDA provincial office where the assessor and
assessment center is accredited.
However rest assured that the result of your assessment shall be treated with strict
confidentiality. This is to ensure your integrity. The result will only be available for
authorized.
In regards to this, I request you candidates to refrain from giving away any form of
information regarding the assessment process

8. allowable adj: If you have difficulty reading or understanding the given instructions, do not
hesitate to inform me so I can read it or translate it for you to our national language
which is Filipino/tagalog. Does anyone here who is not feeling well? None..? For any
other concerns, just let me know so we can make necessary adjustments.

9. facilities: Do you have any questions?


In this center we have different areas, in this room is our oral questioning area in
which you can find also in that corner the First aid kit and fire extinguisher, just
outside is the waiting area; at the end of the hallway is our canteen where you can
take your meals during break; next to it is our comfort room; for the demonstration,
you are to perform them here at our assessment area where you can see the tools
and equipment and even the computers that we are going to use on our assessment
procedure. Everything clear?

10,do’s and donts: Once the assessment has started, please refrain from asking questions, it
is no longer allowed. Same with your celfons you are not allowed to use it during
assessment, just kindly put it on silent mode or perhaps turn it off. Food are also not
allowed here inside the assessment area, eating here is strictly prohibited.
Please also observe safety as you perform the different task and wear appropriate
PPE

Break: So any other concerns? If none..I will give you a short break, please come back after
10mins.

B. ASSESSMENT PROPER Welcome back… don’t forget to say the time frame for the
assessment on every method.
Our assessment has two parts, first the written, demonstration and the oral
questioning later. I will assign your numbers, Mr. Padilla you are candidate#1, Ms.
Bernardo, you are candidate #2.
Now, I will going to distribute the specific instructions which are 1 st the written test you
have 30 minutes to answer the 30 items questions, for the demonstration it is
divided into 2 parts 1st the manual drawing : under COC 1 DRAFT
ARCHITECTURAL LAYOUT AND DETAILS: you are going to layout a 100 sqm
floor plan with standard specification, dimensions and architectural
symbols.

For the 2nd part of the demonstration under COC2- Prepare computer aided drawing:
you are going to re create the manual floor plan using AutoCAD. WITH THE
PROPER Wrkspace settings, scale and print it in to 1:100 paper scale.

Candidate #1, Mr. Padilla you listen and obey instructions carefully that’s why you manage to
perform the each tasks within the allotted time from COC1 to COC2. But I quite
observed that you were nervous during the oral questioning. Nonetheless, you have
performed the tasks within the standard requirement of the qualification for
TECHNICAL DRAFTING NC II. Kindly sign the competency assessment result
summary indicating that you have accepted the result of this assessment. Thank

Candidate#2. Ms. Bernardo, based on your demonstration I have seen that you really know the
process in DRAFT ARCHITECTURAL LAYOUT NAD DETAILS Structural however, you
had troubles in preparing computer aided drawings. Based on the results of my
observation, you did not perform the task within the standard requirement of the
qualification for TECHNICAL DRAFTING NCII.

But don’t worry, you can be re-assess again. Just practice more on the tasks that
you need to improve and when you’re ready, just coordinate here at the assessment
center for our next schedule. And don’t worry, you will only be reassessed on the
part of the activity that you did not complete successfully.

cars the test package; for your filing and signature. Thank you.

8. Parting words: Candidates I have submitted all the documents for this assessment. Your
copy of the result or the competency assessment result summary will be given to you
by the assessment center manager.

For those who are competent. You will received your ELECTRONIC National
Certificate via e mail after 1 working day. For those who are competent please stay
to take a picture of and provide your active email address. Make sure that your
birthday is correct on your application because this will be serve as your password
to log in and get your e cert. and for those who wish to get a CERTIFICATE OF
COMPETENCY on a certain COC. Please coordinate at this assessment center.
