 Environmental Limitations: Do not deliver or install woodwork until building

is enclosed, wet work is complete in installation areas. If woodwork must be
stored in other than installation areas, store only in areas where
environmental conditions comply requirements specified in Project
Conditions Article.

 Avoid woodwork to install until building is enclosed, wet work is complete

and HVAC system is operating and maintaining temperature and relative
humidity at levels planned for building occupants during remainder of the
construction period.

 Ensure woodwork to fit and verify actual dimensions of other construction

by accurate field measurements before fabrication of woodwork.

 Locate concealed framing, blocking, and reinforcements that support

woodwork and coordinate construction to ensure that actual dimension
corresponds to establish dimensions.

 Field Measurements: Where woodwork is indicated to fit to other

construction, verify dimensions of other construction by field measurements
before fabrication, and indicate measurements on shop drawings.

 Coordinate fabrication schedule with construction progress to avoid delaying

the work.

a. Locate concealed framing, blocking, and reinforcements that

support woodwork by field measurements before being enclosed,
and indicate measurements on shop drawings.

b. Established Dimensions: Where field measurements cannot be

made without delaying the work, establish dimensions and proceed
with fabricating woodwork without field measurements. Provide
allowance for trimming at site, and coordinate construction to
ensure that actual dimensions correspond to establish dimensions.

 Any other coordination required with other trades and finishes of other
packages will have to be done.

Precautions include completing brick/block work to the required size before installation, ensuring that wood is free from defects like blue stains and decay, using adequate tools and machinery, and ensuring frame installation by grouting with cement concrete. Also, securing the holdfast adequately with cement concrete is critical .

Door frame installation involves marking the door locations as per approved drawings, setting out points, and coordinating with adjacent elements. Temporarily fixing the frame to concrete block/gypsum partitions with screws and plugs, leveling, and plumbing with correct alignment follows. Expanding foam adhesive is applied for non-fire rated and fire-rated doors, settled for 30-45 minutes, and excess foam is removed .

Field measurements are crucial to verify dimensions of other constructions before fabrication, ensuring woodwork fits properly when installed. Coordinating fabrication schedules with construction progress helps in avoiding project delays, and inaccuracies could lead to misalignment or fitting issues .

Material safety is ensured by storing them in cool, dry places away from fire sources, following the Material Safety Data Sheet for handling recommendations, ensuring that damaged materials during transportation are not used, and placing adequate protection against damage. Materials are verified upon delivery for compliance with specifications .

The Production Manager is responsible for programming all installation aspects, ensuring that the product is installed to project specification and complies with both manufacturers and project requirements. They understand and implement the safety, health and environment plan of the project and manage labor allocations .

The human resources structure includes an Operation Manager overseeing design integrity and safety, a Production Manager managing installation programming, a Site Engineer responsible for material issuance and compliance checks, a Site Foreman ensuring quality and compliance, and a Quality Control Engineer inspecting ongoing works. A Safety Officer also ensures site safety policies are implemented .

Critical inspection factors include verifying compliance with the ITP requirements, ensuring the latest revision of approved drawings is used, checking that any discrepancies found are communicated and rectified before consultant inspection, and ensuring MEP clearance is obtained before installation starts .

Safety is ensured by mandatory use of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE), conducting site safety inductions and tool box talks, and having a Safety Officer who implements the company's safety policy and provides safety training. Additionally, equipment is regularly inspected, and accident/incident reports are immediately addressed .

Environmental limitations for installing wooden doors include ensuring the building is enclosed, and wet work is completed before installation occurs. The HVAC system should be operational, maintaining a temperature between 16 and 32°C and relative humidity between 43% and 70%. Woodwork should fit dimensions of other constructions verified by field measurements before fabrication, and concealed framing and reinforcements should support woodwork .

The Safety Officer is responsible for implementing the company's safety policy, updating management on regulations and safety matters, drafting safe working procedures, investigating accidents, providing safety training, and conducting site inspections to ensure compliance with safety measures .
