Recommended material by MO
Special items
1. Plates and panels of plywood or other wood.
2. Hoists or Crane for lifting the catalyst
3. One chute made of thin steel insulation cover sheet with final part made of ① rubber long hose or
② long straight wooden bars to distribute the packing and catalyst to level the packing heights
4. Ventilator or ventilators for sucking air out of the bed to be filled (app. 30000 Nm³/h at 50°C at
suction pressure of – 10 mbar) and discharge pressure of 2 mbar.
5. Vacuum cleaners with special filters of type P3 (EU-standard)/ P100 (US-standard) for removal of
ceramic and catalyst dust.

Others
 Dust protection masks with respirator with particle filter type P3 (EU-standard)/ P100 (US-
standard)
 PPEs (Gloves, Eye/Face protection)
 Wheelbarrows to transport ceramic packing on the bed (If necessary).
 Lights to bring light to the converter interior.
 Shovels and rakes, buckets.
 Big bags to collect broken ceramic packing.
 Big bags to collect dust which contains catalyst powder which is harmful - these big bags shall
allow easy safe disposal of the harmful material.
 10 sample bags made of fibre mesh with polyethylene inline with min. 10 litres volume.
