Script for Graduation and Moving-up Ceremonies

Sir Aljon: Good morning everyone. Before we begin this ceremony, let me remind you
to turn your cell phones to silent mode and be courteous around you. During the
presentation of graduates, we encourage you to express your pride by applauding and
cheering, but the use of air horns is expressly forbidden.

T. Cheena: Today we celebrate the accomplishments and academic achievements of our


pupils. Therefore, as mentioned, courtesy, attention, and decorum are important and
expected.

Sir Aljon: The month of March is one of the most awaited months on the part of the
pupils as well of course those parents who for their first time ever see their son or
daughter be one of those members of the graduating class.I am pretty sure that it’s been
already a month-long waiting and preparation. Needless to say…what to wear and what
to do. Those feelings come into reality this day…on this 24th day of March as we will
witness the Graduation and Moving-up Ceremonies. I am Sir ______________

T. Cheena: And I am Teacher ______________.

Both: And we are the master of the ceremony of today’s commencement exercise with

Sir Aljon: Next in line, are the members of the Faculty and staff, Administrative
Officials, Board of trustees and Our Commencement Speaker, ______________.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the entrance of colors.

T. Cheena: At this moment, may we all stand as we pay tribute, honor and glory to our
Almighty GOD through a doxology to be led by the HSL Braille College Choir. To be
followed by the singing of the Phil. National Anthem to be conducted by
______________

Sir Aljon: Ladies and Gentlemen, to formally open and to give us the words of welcome,
may we call on ______________of Grade VI-Galatians. Let us give him a resounding
applause,

T. Cheena: Thank you for that warm welcome. At this juncture, may we call on Teacher
______________, to introduce our commencement speaker.

Sir Aljon: Thank you Dr. Bilaro for that very inspiring and heart-warming message.

T. Cheena: At this moment may we call on our school head/Directress,


______________, our school president, ______________for the awarding of the Plaque
of Appreciation to our Guest of Honor and Speaker.

Sir Aljon: And now, the main highlight of today’s event is about to unfold in our midst.
To do the honors of presenting this year’s candidates for moving-up and graduation, may
we have on the stage the Chief Learning Officer- Preschool and Elementary
Departments, ______________to be followed right away by the Recommendation of
candidates, by our School Head/ Directress, ______________, to be followed by the
acceptance and confirmation of Candidates for graduation and moving-up by our guest
speaker, ________________.

Sir Aljon: And now, let us hear the honor speech from ________________ from
kindergarten II-Mark to be followed by ____________, from Grade VI-Galatians. Let us
give them a round of applause.

T. Cheena: A Certificate of Graduation is the tangible evidence of being a graduate in a


certain level of education. This is now the fruit of each pupil’s endeavor. So, to do the
honors of the awarding of diplomas and capping to our young graduates, may we have on
the stage once more, Our School President _____________, Our schood head/ directress,
____________, Our guest speaker, _______________.

Sir Aljon: At this juncture, dear graduates the merit you have been waiting for has finally
come. Let us now proceed to the presentation of awards and imposition of medals.

T. Cheena: At this moment, let us hear the words of triumph and victory from the
honorees, starting with ___________, With Honors from Kindergarten II-Mark. Let us
give him a resounding applause.

Sir Aljon: Another Honor Address from ____________, With high Honors of Grade VI-
Galatians. Let us give him a round of applause.

T. Cheena: Another honor address from _______________, With Honors of


Kindergarten I- Matthew. Let us give him a big hand.

Sir Aljon: At this juncture, May we call on _____________ of Grade VI- Galatians to
lead their fellow graduates in reciting the Pledge of Loyalty.

T. Cheena: And now, let’s all sit back and enjoy as we watch the Kindergarten pupils
perform to sing “This is my now”. Let us give them a resounding applause.
Sir Aljon: Another graduation song that will inspire us to go on. In fact, music is the
expression of the soul. It moves emotion and feels with movement of tears. Through the
song that emphasizes that if you believe, everything you dream, will come true. And now
let us all witness the Grade VI- Galatians pupils as they sing “Journey of Our Dreams”.

T. Cheena: At this juncture, may we call on our hardworking and ever dynamic school
head/ directress, Dr. Helen S. Losbanes for her message. Let us give her a round of
applause.

Sir Aljon: Thank your Dr. Losbanes, for that very inspiring message. And now let us all
enjoy as we watch the kindergarten I-Matthew and Kindergarten II- Mark with their
talent.

T. Cheena: May we request everyone to please stand for the singing of Our School
Hymn, “You are God’s Light”.

Sir Aljon: The Closing has finally arrived. Tomorrow, new challenges and opportunities
await for our graduates that will further test their mettles as improving individuals. May I
call on Nicole Anne Adloc of Grade VI- Galatians for the closing prayer.
