Appendix – On-board Storage with Web-Viewer
Purpose:
To upload the patient worklist from Zview to detector and use Web Viewer to acquire and preview
the X-Ray images for uploaded worklist. Acquired images can be downloaded to Workstation
(Zview) from the detector.
Work flow:
① Connect the detector to ZView, and upload the worklists from ZView to detector.
② Go to the place where the patient is ready for X-ray exam with detector and mobile devices
such as tablet pc or mobile phone.
③ Acquire X-ray images based on the worklist downed on the mobile device using Web-
Viewer. The viewer will also allow the user to check initial image quality such as position.
The thumb nail images of web-viewer is not for diagnosis.
④ Once image acquisition completed from patient side, go back to the workstation with
mobile device and detector, then connect the detector to workstation PC.
⑤ Download acquired images, then Zview will do post-processing according to its body part
of worklist order. Send the images to PACS or DICOM Storage if necessary.
⑥ User can see the images for diagnosis from Zview or PACS.
Description of ZView screen:
1. Uploading the patient worklist
A. Click [ LIST ] button after selecting one or more study need to be uploaded to detector.

(1 = Enabled, 0 = Disabled)
2. Acquiring with WebViewer
A. Connect the detector from mobile devices (tablet or smart phone) through Wi-Fi, and
enter detector IP address [Link] as web address from web browser.
B. Click [Go to Worklist] to see list of uploaded study.
C. Click [START] from one of the study, then the page go to acquisition screen.
D. Click [START] when it is ready to acquire the image.
Make sure to expose the X-Ray before count down finishes.
E. Check the acquired image.
3. Downloading from ZView
A. Select the study and click [Capt.] button, and it will move to acquisition window.
B. When Capture window pops-up,
i. Select each study for check the image. (ER image + Study image)
ii. Click [ Capture ] button which need to download to ZView.
C. When selected images show up on ZView window, send to PACS or DICOM Storage if
necessary.
D. If the detector is not connected to workstation PC, message as below will pop up.
Connect the detector with workstation PC and try to again when connection fail
message shows.
