Dress Code Guidelines

It is essential that all colleagues representing KE are dressed in an appropriate manner; consistent with
our corporate, professional, cultural, and societal norms in our everyday work routine and on all occasions
where we represent the company. The following Dress Code is applicable to all KE employees including
trainees and contractual employees. It is also applicable to service provides’/ contractors’ staff working
on KE premises and locations.

- Formal/ Business Casual.


- Sleeved shirt and trouser. Solid color Polo Shirts (collared) are allowed.
- Closed footwear for men. Workplace stilettos and decent flat dress shoes for females.
- Solid colors smart National dress with waist coat.
- Jeans, T-Shirts, sneakers / joggers / chappals are not allowed; Jeans and workplace sneakers/
joggers are allowed only on Friday.
- For Non-Management colleagues: Company provided uniforms for positions requiring this attire.
For such positions, other apparel will not be permitted.

General
- Personal Hygiene to be always maintained.
- Above guidelines are applicable for working days.
- All Operating Locations such as Power Plants, Grid Stations, TSW, Other Transmission and
Distribution areas, IM Stores, Workshops, etc. will follow ‘KE Safety Guidelines’ while observing
Dress Code. Location In-charges should seek CHSEQ advice wherever required.
- Jeans and workplace sneakers/ joggers may be allowed at locations other than a) Corporate
Offices {Head Office, Elander Road office blocks, Civic Center} and b) direct customer handling
areas, with the approval of respective Location In-charges.
- Chappals allowed only for ablution/ prayer purposes.
- Sportswear allowed only at designated areas like gym etc.
