Accounting, Secretarial Practices and Organization of Commerce and Statistics as core subjects.

B.M.S (Bachelor of Management Studies) 5.59 CGPA with major in Finance. 1st and 2nd year from
Malini Kishore Sanghavi College, Mumbai and 3rd year from Mithibai College, Mumbai. It was once in a
lifetime opportunity to transfer to Mithibai College as it is very decorated institute across India to
pursue Bachelors in commerce field. It was awarded the best college of Mumbai University for 2018-
2019. Subjects studied:
Corporate Finance, Equity and Debt market, Advanced Costing and Auditing, Logistics and Supply
chain management, Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management, Commodity and Derivative

Report on Industrial Tour (MBA) wherein we visited plants of various regionally located firms with high
export turnover in order to understand how customer targeting and segmentation is done at
International Levels, how to deal with international logistics and customs, etc.

Report on Industrial Tour (MBA) wherein we visited plants of Coca-Cola, Amul and other companies in
order to practically understand the operations management, financial management and Human Resource
management of multi-national giant such as Coca-cola.

Summer Internship Report on Operations at Dhaval Agri Exports (MBA). Where I completed my stipulated
45 days of summer internship during 2019. This internship gave me immense exposure on actual working
pattern at largest sesame seeds exporter of India since last 8 consecutive years. I also learned how
documentation is done during Import to and Export from India, foreign trade policies and procedures of
India , support schemes by Government of India to encourage exports and other aids provided in order to
achieve positive Balance of Trade for the country.

Summer Internship Report (BMS) at Cumulative Ventures LLP. Where I completed my stipulated 45 days of
summer internship. During my time there, I learned a lot about procurement and disbursement of finance
to various departments and also learned about their partner firm ‘Shipyaari’ by assisting Back-End-
Support-Executives of the same.

I was born in Veraval and completed my 1st standard from Indian Rayon School, Veraval. In 2004
we moved to Rajkot for a better career prospect for my dad and better educational facilites for
myself and my elder sister. We are a close knit nuclear family of 5 members comprising of me, dad,
mom, sister and my grandmother (Sobhnaben Natvarlal Rachh).

12. Your hobbies (please provide details on how you actively pursue it):
Snooker and Table Tennis.( Pursue it on Regular basis)
Listening to good music, wandering to places with friends, etc.

13. Your strengths and how it can be helpful in the course you are applying for?
With finance as my bachelor’s specialization, i have learned about various modes and importance of
finance when doing business. It also made me aware about different investment options for
individuals as well as various modes of acquiring finance for business. While pursuing my MBA in
International Business i have learned how to import to and export from India. I have fair knowledge
about documentation and procedures to be followed if one wishes to trade with India. After
completion of MBA i was sucessfully able to integrate my theoratical knowledge of finance and
international business to attain better understanding of finace and business management at global
levels.

14. Why are you choosing the particular course and university and how it align with your future career
goals? If you are applying for a course like PhD etc. which is under a specific professor, please provide
their details also and why you want to study under them?

The main reason for choosing Global Business Management was to better understand the
perspective of International Business from another country and also to analyze the impact of
various cultures on global businesses. This would also supplement me to have good grasp over the
agile international markets and magaement of expats as the trade is supposed to take place at
international level.

15. Any special effort you have taken to ensure that you are well prepared for this course
Did my MBA in International Business so that i can have a better understanding of doing business
from 2 countries point of view.

Since 6th grade it was my dream to start my own business once i grew up; Now that dream has been
converted to Vision and Mission of my life. The ultimate goal is to enter Scrap Import/Export Industry
which can only be possible after gaining exposure required to carry on an Import-Export Business.
Successful implentation of therorctical concepts depends on how one can corelate it wth practical
implications of the same, which according to me is possible by studying and learning from the
experienced person in the said field.
