MathWorks MATLAB R2018a (64bit) Installation Tutorial
GUIDE:
This guideline is for novice users. If you are stuck at any point, see “Atkay Gesi” section at the
bottom of this tutorial:
1. Please download “MATLAB R2018a Win” from this google drive link or torrent link (if
you are a TorrentBD user)

2. Now open the folder and right click on the “DVD Drive (X:) MATHWORKS_R2018A”.
Select MOUNT option.
If you don’t see it, click here
3. After mounted, you will see a drive containing a drive letter. Mine is ‘I’. REMEMBER the
drive letter. Run “[Link]” file found in mounted DVD Drive (I:). Again, the drive letter
will vary person to person.
4. Install choosing the option "Use a File Installation Key" and click Next.
5. Supply the following FIK –
09806-07443-53955-64350-21751-41297
Click next, click Yes, click Next
6. Choose the installation folder and REMEMBER it.
7. After a while the installer prompt for DVD 2.
Don’t press OK now. First, right click on the mounted drive and select “EJECT”
8. Mount R2018a_win64_dvd2.iso. DVD 2 must have same Drive Letter as DVD 1. If not,
click here
9. Now, click OK in the installer.
10. Click Next if anything arises and the installation will be finished. After the installation
finishes, go to the installation folder you have selected during the installation. For my
case, “C:\Program Files\MATLAB”. From here go to “R2018a\bin\win64”. Here you will
get "activate_matlab.exe". Run it.
11. Click on Activate manually without the internet.
12. Click on enter full path to your license file, including the file name.
13. Click Browse and select license “[Link]” file in "MATLAB R2018a Win64 Crack
folder". You will find it in the folder you downloaded in step 1.
14. Finish activation by clicking next and you will see the confirmation. Click Finish.
15. Finally, copy the folders in “MATLAB R2018a Win64 Crack” to installed directory
overwriting the originally installed files.
Paste it in the location you installed MATLAB. It may require admin access.
16. Click on Start and search for “MATLAB” and click on it
17. Finally, you will see the MATLAB app opened successfully. If you get an error like
“License Manger Error -8”, click here

Atkay Gesi:
1. If you use any compression or decompression tool like WinRAR, you may have
selected that tool to open ISO files by default. This may remove the MOUNT button.
So, you have to deselect the ISO file association with that tool. An example can be
seen here-
2. You are here because you drive letter is mismatched. Let the Drive Letter you had
for DVD 1 is ‘X’. Now,
• Open Control Panel.
• Open “System and Security”.
• Click on “Create and format hard disk partition”
• It will open disk management and you will find MATHWORKS_R2018A. click
right button, select “Change drive letter and paths”
• Click change
• Now assign the drive letter that you had for DVD 1
• Click ok in the installer
3. You are here because you get an error like “License Manger Error -8”
• First of all, go to the crack folder then copy this ‘[Link]’ file. You will
find it in “MATLAB R2018a Win64 Crack\MATLAB Production
Server\R2018a\bin\win64\[Link]”
• Then paste it in your installation directory where “MATLAB\bin\win64\” lives
• Then again go to the crack folder and copy another ‘[Link]’ file. You will
find it in “MATLAB R2018a Win64 Crack\R2018a\bin\win64\[Link]”
• Then again paste it on your installation directory where
“MATLAB\bin\win64\” lives
• It will say overwrite and press yes. The problem will be solved.
