project which is an deo sra deodorant spray.
Introduction (Priyan)
deodorant is a substance applied to the body to prevent body odor due to bacterial
breakdown of perspiration in the armpits, groin, and feet. A component of deodorants,
called antiperspirants, prevents sweating itself, typically by blocking sweat glands.
Problem statement (Priyan)
Let we check the problems that we found in the deodorant. The production of this deodorant
involves the use of chemicals such as parabens and aluminum parabens are chemicals
used as preservatives, especially in the cosmetics, food and pharmaceutical industries.
Parabens are used for longevity. Parabens are structures like estrogen. The use of
parabens in this deodorant can promote the growth of cancer cells in the armpits, airways,
and on the skin surface. Then this situation, prompted us to produce Antiviral deodorant
which is more user friendly. It also have anti-bacterial properties which works wonders on
infections and any kind of skin problems.
Objective (Kuhan)
Why we invent this deodorant? Consumers keen to use deodorants full of junk and toxic
ingredients on their body due to lack of choices in the market. From artificial fragrance to
parabens, these deodorants can be harmful to your health. As a solution, we have created
Antiviral Deodorant Spray that is healthier, reduces odor, provides freshness all day long
and friendly to your body. This deodorant will be an inevitable safeguard for you during this
pandemic. It will keep you fresh, dry, safe and confident throughout the day.
The action of antiperspirant in this deodorant is to present your body from sweating for a
period of time. Antiperspirants temporarily block the sweat glands on your skin to avoid any
sticky underarms or unwanted sweat. It also won’t get blocked pores, irritation free armpits
in a closer shave and reduce the risk of yellow stains on any of your clothing
Ingredients (Shasvan)
We used Water, baking soda, sea salt, ginger powder, neem leaves, basil leaves, Justicia
adhatoda and fennel and lemon peel as fragrance for produce this deodorant.
Procedures (Shasvan)
We make the deodorant with the simple procedures.
1. Mash the neem leaves, basil leaves and justicia adhathoda in the mortar and pestle then
place the mashed leaves in the container or pot. Add the water and cover the container/pot
with a lid and let the mixture to steep for three days.
2. First, boil the water and let it cool. It mustn’t have more than 50°C to avoid the baking
soda turn to caustic soda.
3. Take the baking soda and the sea salt and ground them in a mortar.
4. Then pour grounded baking soda and sea salt in the water and stir until dissolved.
5. When the baking soda and salt are completely dissolved, add extract of neem leaves,
basil leaves, Justicia adhatoda, lemon juice and ginger powder.
6. Stir the mixture until its well combined.
7. Transfer deodorant to spray bottles and Its ready for spray.

Why we need to use this AnDeoSra Deodorant Spray??
This deodorant is skin and environment friendly and its smell relieves tension also. "The
Antiviral” deodorant can be used on the body and on the clothes. It contains antiviral
components that help in fighting this Covid 19 pandamic. We used basil leave extract, neem
extract and fenel extract. Many research proves that this components act as good antiviral.
Many researches proved that basil leave, neem leaves and Justicia adhatoda is the most
significant medicinal plants mentioned in Ayurvedic creative writing for its medicinal and
religious properties. The root, seeds, and leaves are majorly used due to its therapeutically
properties. Tulsi having different medicinal properties like antimicrobial, antiviral, anticancer,
antidiabetic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antifertility .
Other than that experimental evidence proves fennel as antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal,
anti-oxidation, anti-inflammatory, apoptotic and antimetastatic agent.
