Tally Definition
Tally Prime is accounting software, used in business to record, summarize and maintain business
transactions. Tally was developed in 1984 by Shyam Sunder Goenka in Bangalore.

Starting the Tally Prime software
F3: Company> Create Company
Company Name: Super Traders (Mandatory)
Financial year details (Mandatory)
Fill up: Address, State and other optional details.
Accept
To Shut Company
F3 >Company > Shut Company / ALT+F3
To Alter Company
F3 : Company > Alter Company
Change your address or any other data
Accept
To Delete Company
Go To> F3 (Company)> Alter Company > Alt + D
Select the Company to be deleted Super Traders

Close Button: It allows you to close to restore options
Gateway of Tally: Displays menu screen.
Calculator Area (CTRL+N): Provides calculation options in DBMAS rule

To accept information typed into a field accept a voucher or

report.
Close without saving It quits the screen without making any changes to it Esc
Create master To create a master at a voucher screen Alt + C
Delete Deletes voucher, Stocks, Master, etc.… in alter mode Alt + D
Master alteration To alter a master while making an entry to viewing report Ctrl + Enter
