Note:
a. Status of your family members as shown above is as per results in the Draft NRC & in
the Supplementary List of Inclusions and Exclusions (Final NRC).
b. Any fact of misrepresentation of particulars/documents discovered by the authorities
rendering the person ineligible will lead to exclusion/deletion of the person from NRC
(Rule 10 of the Citizenship (Registration of Citizens and Issue of National Identity
Cards) Rules, 2003).
c. Discovery at any point of time of a person being ineligible for inclusion in NRC on
account of being a Declared Foreigner (post-1971 illegal Migrant or FRRO
unregistered of 1966-71 stream) or a person with a case Pending at Foreigners
Tribunal or D (Doubtful) Voter or descendant of such person (as per eligibility
prescribed), will lead to exclusion/deletion from NRC (Rule 10 of the Citizenship
(Registration of Citizens and Issue of National Identity Cards) Rules, 2003).
d. Receipt at any point of time of opinion by any Foreigner Tribunal declaring any person
as Foreigner, will lead to exclusion/deletion from NRC.
e. Date of birth, age (as on 1st April, 2015) and place of birth are as per declaration
given by the applicant in his/her NRC application form. For any legal purposes, the
place and date of birth would need certification in accordance with the Registration of
Births and Deaths Act, 1969.
f. The particulars mentioned above are as on date of submission of NRC application or
31st August, 2015, whichever is earlier. Display will be made only of the applicants
as on such date. Particulars will not be given for children born after such application
as they are not NRC applicants. Similarly, particulars as per eligibility will be
displayed even if a person dies after submission of the Application Form i.e after date
of submission of NRC application or 31st August, 2015, whichever is earlier.
g. Age below 1 year as on 1st April,2015 will appear as 0.
h. Only in cases where reasons for rejection are ineligibility on account of being
Doubtful Voter (DV) or Declared Foreigner (DF) or Pending case at Foreigners
Tribunal (PFT) or descendants (as per eligibility prescribed) i.e DV Descendant (DVD)
or Declared Foreigner Descendant (DFD) or PFT Descendant (PFTD), the reason for
such rejection will be shown as DV or DF or PFT or DVD or DFD or PFTD in bracket.
i. Any person who is not satisfied with the outcome of the Claims and Objections can
file appeal before the Foreigners Tribunals as per Clause 8 of the Schedule of The
Citizenship (Registration of Citizens and Issue of National Identity Cards) Rules,
2003.
