Easy Homemade Chocolate Cake Recipe

To prepare our chocolate cake we will start with the cake. To
do this, beat the butter with the sugar until you get a whitish
cream.

Next, add the eggs, water and chocolate essence to the
mixture and continue beating, with electric whisks, until they
are completely integrated, forming a soft dough.

Next, add the flour along with the cocoa powder, previously
sifting both ingredients, add the baking powder and beat
lightly until everything comes together well and you get the
homogeneous and uniform dough of our chocolate cake.
Remember that the cocoa can be any chocolate powder that
you get in stores.

To complete the preparation of the cake, pour the entire
mixture into a mold , previously greased with butter, and place
in the oven preheated to 180ºC for about 30 minutes.
To check if the chocolate cake is ready, you can pierce the
center with a toothpick. Once removed from the oven, let it
rest for 15 minutes and remove it from the mold to cool.

Now we will continue with the construction of the cover . For
the filling and coating of the easy chocolate cake we have to
dissolve the cocoa or chocolate powder in the boiling water.
Add the milk and cook over low heat, stirring constantly with a
wooden spoon until the mixture thickens and reaches the
desired consistency. Add the butter. Remove and leave to
use.

Finally, to completely assemble the chocolate cake, the cold
cake is divided into two, both parts are joined again with a
layer of filling and everything is lightly covered with the
remaining cream of the filling.
Remember that you can alternate the filling of your chocolate
cake with condensed milk or dulce de leche .
