Presentation:

Information technologies, including computers, are already an essential part of our


lives, so much so that we cannot conceive of their absence. They are essential in all
fields of life and work: family, professional and work, just as they cannot be missing
in any space of social and human activities.

This course, taught by experts, aims to provide you with a series of computer repair
and maintenance classes, so that you can develop knowledge and skills to get into
an occupation with growing demand today and, surely, in the future

General objective:

Incorporate a set of knowledge and skills to repair and maintain computer


equipment.

Specific objectives:

• Incorporate the basic concepts of PC assembly and repair.


• Learn to identify the parts of a PC, as well as the technologies that constitute it.
• Understand the main theoretical and technical concepts.
• Learn how to build a PC effectively from scratch.
• Learn to perform different types of maintenance.
• Acquire knowledge and skills to detect faults and correct errors.
• Learn to use recommended programs and software to carry out repairs and
maintenance.
• Learn to detect and combat computer viruses.

Teaching-Learning Methodology:

You will have all communication with the tutors through our Virtual Campus, which
is available 24 hours a day and where you will find:

• Discussion forums.
• Consultations with the tutor through forums and internal messaging.
• Required reading material.

• Individual and/or group integrative activities and work.
• Class in real time, minimum 1 meeting every 15 days, via Zoom.

Evaluation and Accreditation Modality:

For the accreditation of a training path, the following are taken into account:

• Reading and viewing all content.


• Degree of participation in all debate forums and proposed activities.
• The delivery and approval of all activities and exercises that are designated as
mandatory.
• The student must complete the course within the duration of the journey without
exception. Once it is finished, you will not be able to deliver any mandatory
activity owed.
• The approval of the Final Integrative Evaluation, which can be a Practical Work or
a Multiple Choice Questionnaire.

Upon completion of the training path, if you have complied with the above, you will
be granted a Certificate of Approval. If you have done so partially, you will be given
