Preparation
To make all the connections it is not necessary to remove any cover from the inverter. Once the
battery and AC connections are made, the trims can be used to cover these connections. Removing the
top cover voids the product warranty!

Inverter mounting

Consider the following points before selecting the inverter installation location:

• Do not mount the inverter in places with flammable materials.

At least
300mm „

• Please note that the surface is solid.

• Install the inverter at eye level to be able to see the

notifications on the display at all times. At least
200mm

• For proper heat dissipation, take into account the

lateral, bottom and top separation distances of the inverter
from other objects or devices. (Graphic Right)

• The ambient temperature must be between 0ºC and

55ºC (without At least
condensation) to ensure optimal operation. 300mm

• The recommended
position is vertical.

• Make sure you have enough space since the metal piece
on which we will hang the inverter is not at the upper end of
it.

• The inverter is not resistant to water or abrasive agents.

Make sure it is protected from leaks and vapors that may be
produced by connected batteries.
We recommend a slight separation of the position of the
inverter and the location of the batteries.

Place the equipment by screwing the horizontal metal

piece on which we will hang the inverter to the wall.

6
Battery connection
CAUTION: For safe operation before connecting batteries, install
a current disconnector between the batteries and the inverter.

WARNING! All connections must be made by qualified personnel.

WARNING! It is very important for the security of the system and a —
efficient operation use appropriate cables for connection
of batteries. To reduce any risk, use the recommended cable and terminals listed in the table
below or contact your dealer.

WARNING!
For panel wiring, you must respect the maximum input voltage supported by the inverter regulator;
overvoltage in the solar field can seriously damage the charge regulator.

WARNING!
For inverters with MPPT regulator , never exceed the maximum voltage in each series of panels. The
open circuit sum of the panels that make up each series must not exceed 145VOC in low temperature
conditions.

Insert the battery cable into the terminal and make sure it is firmly attached, also take into account
making a correct polarity connection between the batteries and the inverter-charger. We recommend
first making the connection inside the inverter and then on the battery terminal, or using a current
disconnector.

WARNING: Electrocution
TO Installation must be carried out with extreme care due to the high current intensity
of the batteries.

ATTENTION!! Do not apply any anti-rust substance to the battery terminals once
TO they are connected, instead use Vaseline before connecting. ATTENTION!! Before
making the last DC connection or opening the DC switch make sure the polarity is
correct.

7
AC input and output connection
ATTENTION!! Before connecting the AC input, please install a circuit breaker between the mains input
and the inverter. This system will allow you an emergency disconnection in the event of any problem.

ATTENTION!! There is a silkscreen on the terminals with the markings “INPUT” (Input) and “OUTPUT”
(Output). Keep these instructions in mind to avoid making a mistake when connecting the input and
output.

WARNING! All connections should be made by qualified personnel.

WARNING! It is very important for the safety of the system and efficient operation to use the
appropriate cables for connection to the electrical network. To reduce any risk, use the recommended
cable and terminals listed in the following table:

Connection of photovoltaic (PV) modules
ATTENTION: Before connecting the photovoltaic modules, make sure that the battery is connected to
the inverter. Connecting the panels before the batteries can damage the regulator . WARNING! All
connections should be made by qualified personnel. You can use a fuse and a disconnector to quickly
and easily disconnect the modules.

Selection of photovoltaic modules:

WARNING! When selecting the appropriate modules keep the following considerations in mind:
The open circuit voltage of the photovoltaic modules cannot exceed (Voc) the maximum voltage of the
inverter. The sum of the Imp intensities of the panels cannot exceed the maximum current of the
regulator.

INVERTER MODEL 5KVA 48V
