Models of Reality
1 Know that you are a natural born communicator
Which experiences in your life have shaped your beliefs around speaking publicly?
Your fears around public speaking were born out of these experiences. Becoming
aware of them helps you challenge it and then change it.
2 emotions that are often confused are being nervous and being excited - because
both feel the same internally and externally.
So if you were ever excited about going on stage, you might have confused it with
nervousness because they feel the same in the body.
2 Build a “No Problem” mindset to deliver everytime
The best speakers are ready for anything (including unexpected
agenda changes, slides not working, change in order of speaking, etc)
They trust their own story and their speech engine because they
know that’s when they will most authentically be received by the
audience.
3 Shake off Perfectionism
The best talks today are the ones where there is a LIVE element -
where things are NOT perfect or staged or accurately curated.
Shaking off perfectionism and focussing on authenticity is a key
element of delivering a great talk.

4 Know Your Audience Frequency
Any audience you are facing has 2 unique elements:
1. Energy Frequency
What is the overall energy of your audience to receive and add on
to what you have to share?
2. Content Velocity
What is the level of information you can offer to your audience that
is right for the energy frequency they are currently at?
5 Your Stories Matter.
Become a storyteller and share them authentically
Stories are what build relatability and sharing them creates a
personal connection with any audience.
Any life experience of yours that has taught you a valuable lesson is
a great story to share.
You need to feel the emotions of your own story when you share it
- this is when the audience feels it too.
Systems for Living

1 the best outcome in any meeting

your talk or communicating with someone in a meeting.
Pre-Meet your audience
Go into a meditative state and imagine the person or the audience
you’re going to be addressing - set an intention of serving them
deeply and request their trust during your meeting.

2 Do’s & Don’t for Delivering A Great Talk
Do’s Don’t
Be mentally ready for anything Write your speech down (you end up
(including unexpected agenda trying to remember words and sound
changes, slides not working, scripted instead of authentic)
change in order of speaking, etc)
Depend on your notes or slides
Use slides to only provide (because then your notes / slides
evidence or deliver an emotional lead your presentation, not your
response story)
Trust your own story and speech Rehearse the exact way you are
engine going to deliver your talk

5 Create your own story journal
Document your life experiences and the lessons you learned from them in a
journal.
You might not know who it’s valuable for yet but you should document it
anyway.
They don’t have to be fleshed out. They can just have quick bullets out there
as an outline or reminder.
Then learn to tell different versions of the same story - a 3 minute version
and a longer 30 minute version of it.
This helps you deliver great talks, write a book, write your blogs and create
powerful content.
