STEM Science, Technology,
Engineering, and Mathematics
Designed for students who want to pursue a degree centered
on formulas, the STEM strand provides the necessary
introduction for students in solving real-life problems and
technical developments as foundation in related programs like
Information Technology, Engineering, and Medicine.
Jumpstart your basic knowledge about the key principles of
science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through
critical thinking, solving calculus, and getting acquainted with
the branches of science such as biology, chemistry, and
physics to name a few.

Program Outcomes
• Design and interpret models, demonstrations, simulations,
and representations of key principles in science, technology,
engineering, and mathematics disciplines.
• Utilize critical thinking to make sense of problems and apply
the steps that scientists follow before arriving to a judgment
about the world around you by applying scientific skills
including familiarity with laboratory procedures, test methods,
equipment, and protocols.
• Employ valid and reliable research strategies in solving real
issues faced by a partner company and help in creating and
improving an existing product, and generating a new
understanding in a changing world of technology.
• Solve multi-concept and rich-context problems accurately
using an approach which involves experiments and utilizing
the underlying scientific, technical, and mathematical
principles and ideas.
• Conduct a scientific or technical research and present the
result both orally and written in a logical, clear, and effective
way.
