Strengths and Achievements: What aspects of your work this year do you feel most proud of, and why?
How did your strengths contribute to these achievements across different projects and assignments?

This year I felt most proud of my infographic about the Sulawesi tsunami. I think that I did really well in
this assignment. I took a lot of time trying to follow everything that the teacher said we had to include into
the infographic. I included the topic, a lot of info about the people dying. I tried to make it colorful and
make it so that the audience would be attracted to it and willing to read it and be interested in what I am
writing about. All of the things I included were positive according to the teacher so I thought this was my
best summative assignment created in this unit.

2. Areas for Improvement: Reflecting on your work this year, what were the main challenges you faced?
What specific skills or areas do you feel need further development to improve your performance?

The main improvement I have to work on for next year is to improve on being able to present and talk in
front of the class and just mainly people in general. I have a problem with presenting in front of people, I
really struggle with remembering my lines when in front of people and I get really uncomfortable so I
should work on that. It is getting better and I think that I just have to learn the lines more to feel more
comfortable saying it in front of the class.

3. Feedback and Growth: How did you incorporate feedback from peers and teachers into your
assignments? Provide examples of how this feedback improved your work and contributed to your
learning.

I think I should “consider narrowing down your topic and making your connections to the key concepts
more explicit to enhance the clarity and impact of your analysis. Additionally, ensure that all required
elements, such as a timeline, are included in your investigation outline. Keep up the good work and
continue to refine your approach” This is what my teacher had said in my past assignment and this was
very repetitive over assignments, so I should work on that.

4. Future Goals and Strategies: Considering your overall progress this year, what specific goals do you
have for Grade 11 and the Diploma Programme (DP)? How will you adapt your study habits or
approaches to achieve these goals and continue growing academically and personally?

I want to make sure I take more time studying and preparing for the summative. I need to be better at time
management and make sure i have enough time for each topic and make sure I get everything done.

Well-defined goals also aid in time management and can reduce stress by breaking larger objectives into manageable tasks .

Incorporating timeline elements into academic projects enhances depth and impact by providing a chronological framework that helps to contextualize the analysis. It allows readers to understand the sequence and development of events or concepts, thereby clarifying cause-and-effect relationships. This temporal structure can bring additional insights into how and why certain outcomes occurred, contributing to a more thorough understanding of the subject matter. Timelines can also help highlight trends and patterns that are crucial for making informed conclusions and predictions .

To improve time management for summative assessments, students can implement strategies such as creating a detailed study schedule, breaking down topics into manageable parts, and prioritizing tasks based on deadlines and complexity. Additionally, setting specific goals for study sessions, using tools like planners or digital apps to track progress, and regularly reviewing and adjusting their study plans can enhance efficiency. Allocating specific times for focused study without distractions can also significantly improve time management .

Feedback from educators and peers is crucial for academic development as it provides insights into areas of improvement and reinforces strengths.
