Using a computer every day can have more

negative than positive effects on young


children.
Do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, whether young children using a computer every day has sparked a heated debate
and drawn public attention. Some people are firmly convinced that using computers on young
ages could stop children creativity, while others argue that computers are helping children to
develop new skills.

First and foremost, when viewed from social perspective, it is evident that using computers
every day has helped many young children to grow faster and many others with learning
issues to catch up quicker. Although, the potentially negative impacts must bet taken into
account. I still agree that computers has more negative impacts than positive. Just for the fact
that is not balanced with the rest of the children life. I still reckon that computers has in many
ways benefited them. For example, a prominent scientist once stated that it does not matter
how many new technology comes into the market as long as the people learn how to us it
wisely. It is thus clearly that this is not always the case.

Additionally, another social factor should be taken into account in this situation. As far as
society is concerned, the ultimate aim of computers is to help people. For instance, a resent
article published in the Economist revealed that the growing technology in society is
exponential.

In conclusion, due to all the reasons outlined above, I have a strong belief that a wonderful
future awaits for young children who will develop a computer skill as long all the technology
is regulated correctly. In order to move things forward all parties involved must make a
concreted effort to comunicate and start changing, with all of our efforts we can certainly
make a much better place to live.
