IMPORTANCE OF LEADERSHIP AND PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT
There are so many qualifications a government and private organizations want their employees and
their applicants to possess. The leadership capacity of a certain applicant is also being checked with the way

they present themselves during the interviews and by considering the way they handled their past job
experiences.
All of the companies would not want to lose millions of their profit, lose their loyal customers, and
not attract new and prospective customers simply because of a font liner who happens to be not customer-
oriented, traumatizes and disappoints their customers. Such cases of ignoring customers or simply treating
them rudely and indifferently will not be acceptable in any establishment. This is really a “foul” in public
service.
With this interpretation, we will be able to realize that competence or skills are not enough for a
certain employee to succeed in his work and produce positive results. Attitude and pleasing personality are
equally important. When we say pleasing personality, it is the personality that can create a winning goodwill
and respect. It involves maturity, capability of making positive impressions and ability to handle different
people in different situations.
In this regard, it is significant that everyone is endeavored to develop a pleasing personality so as to
succeed in everything that he/she does. It is through the understanding of his/her personality and his peers or
other people that will help him spell the difference between the words success and failures in dealing with
them. It will also help him/her be confident in meeting other people in the corporate world.
COURSE MODULE
In the field of enforcers, personality development would be a big help to be able to climb to a higher
level by transcending what a person already has. This includes his physical attributes, knowledge, skills
matched with attitude and values. Personality development will also be a great help to ensure that he would
be able to extend himself to the wants and needs of his constituents. A person who has a good personality can
be able to move through difficulties with more confidence, thus, developing it could be an important thing to
consider. As he/she develops, momentum of success increases because the influence on others also
intensifies. Through personality development, a person will be able to achieve the following:
• Improve the strengths and develop the weaknesses
• Use the right gestures and postures needed for professional enforcers
• Control feelings and emotions especially in really tough situations
• Develop pleasant expression and attitude towards personnel
• Possess personality needed in the corporate world
Leadership on the other hand, is always important to each and every one. This does not mean to lead a team
only, to let the people follow you, or to influence people, but also manage yourself, to do your own
responsibilities, and to discipline yourself in such a way you coordinate with your team, the way you present
yourself to them, the way you lead them, and the way you decide for the team. As future leaders of the
country, it is significant that you check your personality as early as now if you have what it takes to be a part
of this ever changing and challenging environment.
