Olivia Ro dr igo
Olivia Isabel Rodrigo is an American actress, songwriter and
singer born on 20 February, 2003. She grew up in Murrieta,
California although she was born in Temecula.
Since she was six years old, she started acting and singing classes
in theater productions at Lisa J. Mails Elementary School and
Dorothy McElhinney Middle School.
Acting Career
The first time she appears on screen was in an Old navy
commercial. In 2015, she protagonist Grace Thomas of
An American Girl: Grace stirs up success. Soon after,
in 2016 with her partner Madison Hu
starred in the Disney Channel series
Bizaardvark. Finally in 2019, she was
cast in the starring role of Nini on
Disney+ new series, High
School Musical: The
musical, The Series. Also,
she was designated to write two of the
songs of this series “All I want” and “Just
for a moment” with her co-star, Joshua
Bassett.
Relationships
Olivia had dated Ethan Wacker, the actor that
interpretated Bernie on Bizaardvark, but their
relationship finished
on 2019. Because of
the rumors lots of
fans confirmed that she had also
dated Joshua Bassett that
interpretated Ricky in HSMTMTS.
Singing career
On January 2021, she released her single “Driver’s License”
that at the moment beats the 200.020.000 views. The song
debuted at the number 1 of the Billboard Hot 100 and also
reached number one-chart positions
in a lot of countries. On April 1st
2021 she released another single
called “Déjà vu” which debuted at number eight
on the Billboard Hot 100, making
her the first artist to debut their
first two releases in the top 10 of
the Hot 100. On May, she took out her third single, “Good 4
u” that hit the 1st place in Billboard Hot 100 and she released
on May 21 her album Sour with a lot
of hits such as happier, traitor and 1
step forward and 3 steps back.
