Product Description
CES
CES counterflow nozzle adapters are available
as both saddle pipe adapters and nozzle Std
extensions. Saddle Pipe
Adapter
The saddle pipe adapters are produced from
injection molded ABS and are available in three
styles to fit various Schedule 40 PVC pipe
diameters (4”, 6”, 8”,10” and 12”+). The
adapters are normally glued to the lateral pipes
using “green” ABS to PVC cement. These
adapters are typically used with CES nozzles
such as the LP and SP nozzles but can be

used with any nozzle that has matching
threads. Dog Eared
The Standard Saddle Pipe adapter can be Saddle Pipe
supplied with either 2” NPT or 2” female coarse Adapter
threads. The shoulder of the adapter includes
pre-drilled holes for fastening screws.

The “Dog Eared” saddle pipe adapter can be


supplied with either 2” NPT or 2” female coarse
threads. The adapter includes “ears” that
include 0.25” holes to accommodate screws for
securing the adapter to lateral piping. CES
The Dual Thread saddle pipe adapter is similar Dual Thread
to the “Dog Eared” adapter except that it Saddle Pipe
includes both 2” female “RC” threads and 2”
Adapter
female wood threads.

The CES Nozzle Extension is produced from


injection molded polypropylene. It includes
either 2” NPT or 2” coarse threads on one end
and 2” NPT or 2” female coarse threads on the
other end. The extensions are nominally 4”
long and are used to optimize nozzle distance
from the top of the fill section of the tower.
