Capstone Project (Part-I) Report Format

CONTENTS OF THE REPORT Cover page on hard paper (Light Green Color) Inner page same as cover page but on the soft paper Declaration Certificate Index 1. Profile of the Problem 2. Existing System Introduction Existing Software DFD for present system Whats new in the system to be developed 3. Problem Analysis Product definition Feasibility Analysis Project Plan 4. Software Requirement Analysis Introduction General Description Specific Requirements 5. Design System Design Design Notations Detailed Design Flowcharts / Pseudo code 6. Technology / Domain / Tool Introduction Programs / Exercises Practiced with outputs Snapshots

The matter contained in the report should be typed in MS word (1.5 spacing) Times New Roman, 12 pt or equivalent with other software. Figures and tables may be inserted in the text as they appear or may be appended in order. List of references shall be appended at the end. Subject matter should be typed on both sides. A total of THREE copies should be prepared one for the Student, second for the Project Mentor and third for the Department.
