PLATFORM USED
➢ WINDOWS 10
Windows 10 is a Microsoft operating system, a version which
succeeded Windows 8 and Windows 8.1, which were
unveiled in 2012 and 2013, respectively. Code-named
“Threshold,” Windows 10 was released to the general public
in July 2015. Microsoft is attempting to use Windows 10 to
unify diverse operating systems for different devices
including PCs, phones and video consoles. Users already
running Windows 7 or Windows 8 may be eligible for a free
download of Windows 10.
➢ VISUAL STUDIO CODE
Visual Studio Code is a free source-code editor made by
Microsoft for Windows, Linux and macOS. Features include
support for debugging, syntax highlighting, intelligent code
completion, snippets, code refactoring, and embedded Git.
Users can change the theme, keyboard shortcuts,
preferences, and install extensions that add additional
functionality.

➢ HTML 5
HTML stands for HyperText Markup Language. It is used to
design web pages using a markup language. HTML is the
combination of Hypertext and Markup language. Hypertext
defines the link between web pages. A markup language is
used to define the text document within the tag which
defines the structure of web pages. This language is used to
annotate text so that a machine can understand it and
manipulate text .
➢ CSS
Cascading Style Sheets, fondly referred to as CSS, is a simply
designed language intended to simplify the process of
making web pages presentable. CSS allows you to apply
styles to web pages. More importantly, CSS enables you to do
this independent of the HTML that makes up each web page.
➢ JAVASCRIPT
JavaScript is a lightweight, cross-platform, and interpreted
compiled programming language which is also known as the
scripting language for webpages. It is well-known for the
development of web pages, many non-browser
environments also use it

SYSTEM DESIGN
Data Flow Diagram (DFD) :
A DFD represents the flow of data within a system. It
shows how data moves from one process to another,
interacting with external entities and data stores.
In the context of a Netflix clone:
o External entities: Users, Content Providers
o Processes: User registration, Content
recommendation, Music, Payment
processing
11
Entity-Relationship Diagram (ERD) :
An ERD models the relationships between entities
(tables) in a database.
Object Diagram:
An object diagram is a graph of instances, including objects
and data values. A static object daigram is an instance of a
class daigram; it show a snapshot of the detailed state of a
system at a point in time. The use of object diagrams is fair ly
limited, namely to show examples of data structure.
12
Class Diagram:
A class diagram depicts classes, their attributes, methods, and
associations. Classes in a
Spotify clone:
o User o
Music o
Search o
Playlist o
Rating
Associations: User listening Music, Music belongs to Playlist,
etc
Gantt Chart and PERT Chart :
o These charts help manage project schedules and
dependencies.
o Gantt Chart: Visualizes tasks, durations, and
dependencies.
o PERT Chart: Represents task sequences and critical
paths.
Activity Diagram :
o An activity diagram shows the flow of activities or
processes.
o Example: User registration, Content
recommendation flow.
Collaboration Diagram :
o Also known as a communication diagram, it
illustrates interactions between objects.
o Example: User interacts with Music, Music
communicates with
playlist.

CONCLUSION
In the rapidly changing economy of the Internet, Spotify
stands out as a leading innovator in the field of music
streaming. Starting out in a large field of competitors,
Spotify rose quickly to lead the industry in music
streaming, and become the service of choice for
millions of users.
This was achieved through a user-focussed business
model that placed value on the attention of millions of
users over the economic value of the music it was
providing, or the monetary profits that might be gained.
It was this shift away from a profit driven business
model that allowed Spotify to grow a network economy
and gain value as a business to advertisers and music
artists alike.
By recognizing the value of the network, and the power
that could be leveraged through focusing the network
attention, Spotify was able to achieve success and
attract a greater library of music to offer the users,
which in turn increased the network and the power of
Spotify.

LIMITATION OF THE PROJECT
:

its own lyrics feature. ...
Available in the limited number of

FUTURE SCOPE OF SPOTIFY CLONE
:
Spotify is the dominant leader in audio streaming
from an engagement standpoint.
The Freemium offering is a subsidy program that
offsets the costs of acquiring new premium
subscribers.
Having older cohorts with lower churn rates, Spotify
is advantaged over the competition.
