Group Project

Requirement Number one:

1. Every Group should select a unique industry (e.g., Pharmaceutical, Shipping, Fast
food…)

2. Every single student will select one of the top 100 companies in this specific industry).

3. Every student should answer the following questions about his specific company:

a. Information page (Corporations and Industry name, Student names, IDs, Semester,
Track, Date)

b. Company profile, rank, Last year sales revenues and profits

c. Big data definition and meaning for this specific company

d. Data collection tools inside this company

e. Data cleaning methods

f. Business Analytics processes

g. Business Analytics competency center

h. Business Analytics strategy

i. Business analytics application examples in each department (5 examples for each)

j. Business Analytics visualization tools

k. Business Analytics barriers, if exist, and how they overcome

l. Business Analytics effect in the organizational performance and top management

m. Future of the application of Business Analytics in this specific company

4. Then, by the end of the course, every group should prepare (one presentation file to
compare between the group industry companies’ information beside uploading the numbers
of word file for each company)
