The given two diagrams introduce the data about Fairtrade’s selling of labelled food-goods as coffee and
bananas between 1999 and 2004 in the five countries (UK, Switzerland, Denmark, Belgium, Sweden).
Overall, there are five European countries that sailed two type of food-goods (coffee and bananas). In
the first given period, there are Switzerland that was the leader of sales of coffee and bananas. But, in
second period, the most activist was changed with UK in the coffee sales, also there was no change
about leader of bananas.
Information about coffee, the UK’s selling increased significantly between 1.5 and 20 in given period.
Similarly, the sales of Switzerland, Denmark, Belgium and Sweden roses from 3 to 6, from 1.8 till 2
together with 1 until 1.7 and 0.8 by 0.2 million of euros respectively.
On the other hand, there are growth in Switzerland (15 to 47), UK (1 to 5.5) and Belgium (0.6 to 4).
Likewise, Sweden earn 1.8 million in 1999, but its sales decline by 0.8 million. There is similar situation
with Denmark selling, that was decreased between 2 and 0.9 million of euros.
