1. Introduction
Semi - yearly maintenance is necessary for identifying systems/equipment’s healthy status for
especially in 24X7 hours operations. Before starting the activities following points to be considered, consult
all drawings are available in field. The drawings show top and front views of the switchgear, primary and
secondary connection diagrams, and Bills of Materials.

3. Work Procedure
 Make sure necessary drawings are available
 Necessary permit has been taken in place
 Make sure necessary lights are available before switch off main incomer
 Remove each compartments and verify the cable end connections/terminations
 Verify physically/visually rear connector’s healthy condition.
 Verify physically/visually flexible bus bars healthy condition.
 Check physically bus bars joints with Torque range and confirm everything are normal
 Check Bus bars chamber connection/termination visually as well as physically.
 Apply necessary lubricants in draw able compartments as well as remove old lubricants from
compartments.
 Verify ACB operation using primary injection kit.
 Verify ACB operations using Circuit Breaker Analyzer kit

 Do the necessary ACB Service, including spring chargeable mechanism operations, Gear motor
mechanism and confirm all are working healthy condition.
 Do the necessary MOE and MCCB service, including spring chargeable mechanism operations,
Gear motor mechanism and confirm all are working healthy condition.
 Clean the panels.
