Online Presentation Assessment Task Instructions

Objective: Develop your ability to evaluate presentations through an online, rubric-based


approach.
Materials Needed:
1. Ensure your device is connected to the internet.
2. Access to the videos in the link below:

3. Use the rubric provided in the materials of Week 1.
Task Steps:
1. Preparation (40 minutes):
 Review the content of effective presentation skills.
 Download or access the rubric.
2. Presentation Clips (30 minutes)
 Click on the provided links to watch pre-selected presentation clips.
 You can also upload a clip you watched or your own self-recorded clips.
 Watch the clips.
 Take notes on weaknesses, strengths, and areas for improvement.
3. Individual Assessment (30 minutes):
 Use the rubrics to individually assess at least 1-2 presentations.
 Provide thoughtful evaluations based on the criteria outlined.
4. Discussion (60 minutes):
 Discuss your assessments with fellow students who watch the same clips.
5. Online Discussion and Q&A (60 minutes):
 Engage in a class-wide discussion on common themes, challenges, and lessons
learned using the online chat or discussion forum.
 Ask questions and share your experiences related to the assessment process.
7. Conclusion (30 minutes):
 Summarize your key takeaways from the online exercise.
 Reflect on the importance of constructive online feedback in improving
presentation skills.
