Dear Parents,
Kids look forward to the summer vacation all year long. They look forward to
having loads of fun and family time. With summer vacation right around the
corner, it’s time to keep the children positively engaged. We seek your help to
keep a supervisory eye and lend your support and motivation to your children.
Your guidance and encouragement can go a long way in bringing out latent
talents and help children have a memorable vacation.
Kindly ensure that the holiday homework is completed by the students
under the guidance of the parents.
This summer break let’s try and make a difference:
Be a Friend: You can play games with your child. Games like Ludo,
Carrom board, and Scrabble keep the children entertained and engaged.
Be Aware of Their Surroundings: Encourage them to watch various
informative T.V channels like Discovery, National Geographic channel and
Animal Planet.
Inculcate a Sense of Responsibility: Even the little ones can be taught to do
small jobs and develop a sense of responsibility. They can undertake activities
like laying the table, filling the water bottles, dusting, watering plants, taking
care of their pet, cleaning their cupboard, arranging their toys etc.

Appreciate Nature – Adopt or grow a plant.
Unravel the Artist in them - Create a new story, try a new
recipe with elders, learn new songs, play an instrument.
Inculcate Good Manners - Respect parents, grandparents and
all elders. Use three magical words (Sorry, Please and Thank you)
often. ‘A little more courtesy goes a long way.’
Save Nature – Contribute to save our precious environment.
Minimize the wastage of resources like water, fuel and
electricity.
Work on Language Skills - Read story books and try to converse in
English.
Summer vacations have begun. Spending fun and frolic holidays are
set to be a break from studies, explanation and completing tasks.
Keeping yourself engaged to bea t the scorching heat, we bring you a
series of constructive activities, to inculcate innovativeness,
creativity and interest. It will surely enhance your personality and
your learning process in your vacation time.

Taking a break from studies once in a while is very important.
It freshens up our body and mind. What is your favourite indoor
hobby during summer vacation? Paste a picture of your hobby
while doing that and write few lines on it.
