This study “MORINGA (Moringa oleifera) LEAF EXTRACT AS FOLIAR
FERTILIZER FOR TOMATO (Solanum lycopersicum) was conducted at Caranglaan,
Mabini, Pangasinan from October to February 2022. This study aims to determine the
effect of different levels of moringa leaf extract in terms of the growth and yield of
tomatoes.
A total area of 86.8 m2 was laid out using the Randomized Complete Block
Design. The experimental area was divided into three equal blocks representing the
number of replications and each block was divided into five plots with a dimension of 1.4
x 2 meters representing the number of treatments. The distance between plots was one
meter. The different treatments were as follows: Treatment (T1) - Farmers Practice;
Treatment (T2) 200 ml MLE + 1 Liter of water; Treatment (T3) 250 ml MLE + 1 Liter of
water; Treatment (T3) 300 ml MLE + 1 Liter of water; Treatment (T4) 300 ml MLE + 1
Liter of water; Treatment (T5) 350 ml MLE + 1 Liter of water.
Based on the findings of the study, it was concluded that the application of
moringa leaf extract did not significantly influence the growth of tomatoes but the
application of 200 ml MLE + 1 liter of water significantly increased the yield.
