Writing task 02

Question 1: Parents should encourage their children to

spend less time studying and more time doing
sports/physical activities. Do you agree or disagree?
It is often argued that children should be encouraged by
their parents to participate in sports and other physical
activities, even if they spend less time studying. I
completely agree with this opinion and think that sports
activities are more important than studying.
First of all, I believe that sports and physical exercise play
a crucial role in a child's development. Engaging in sports
can instill a sense of discipline, teamwork, and
perseverance in youth that can help them in various aspects
of their lives. Furthermore, some individuals can indeed
make a successful career out of sports and earn a decent
income. For example, a plethora sportsmen make their
career in sports and can receive a wage because they spend
more time in sports or physical exercise. That’s why it’s
more beneficial and makes a child feel happy, or parents do
not feel tension in their child's career.
Secondly, children can be self-motivated in their lives
through physical activities. In other words, there is a strong
connection between social networking and leadership
roles. A child can learn networking skills and leadership
skills; in the future, they could excel in their career. For
instance, Mashrafi Bin Mortaza, who is a former team
leader for the Bangladesh national cricket team, He was
playing a leadership role and becoming a member of
parliament. Since then, he has become famous for his well-
known work. Thus, sports and physical activities have
advantages, but from a long-term perspective, children
should focus on both.
To conclude, I strongly believe that sports and physical
activities offer numerous benefits as they contribute to
personal growth and motivation.
