In 200 words, write your personal reflective note on the use of multimedia resources in teaching and
learning with reference to your experience in this course and the teachings of the primary school
teachers during STS.
Reflective notes on the use of multimedia resources in teaching and learning

Media is the plural form of medium which describes any channel of communication. Hence, multimedia
means the use of more than one medium of communication. Teaching is the means of sharing
knowledge and experience usually organized within a discipline. Learning refers to the relatively
permanent changes in behaviour due to experience. Multimedia resources are mediums and sources
for video, images, and audio; tips and tools for creating and editing media. Some examples of
multimedia resources are videos, images, podcasting, text materials, etc. Some benefits of multimedia
resources are ;Improves reflective thinking,Provision of valuable learning opportunities, Makes learning
easier and faster, Makes class lively as learning is [Link] are several ways by which multimedia
resources can be implemented in teaching and learning

Owing to COVID-19 , the use of online teaching a learning resources [Link] resources
helped to provide easy access and fast delivery of tutorials, course materials, tests and quizzes to the
users. Resources like Sakai, Google classrooms, etc.

In addition to the above, construct their own knowledge relying on search engines with the use
of multimedia devices like laptops, tablets, mobile phones, etc. Students are able to learn on their own
under the guidance of the facilitator. An example is allowing my students to research a topic for
discussion and make their own notes either before or during class.

Furthermore, makes learning easier by using the various ways that aids the learning styles
example; use of audio, visual, etc. As a professional teacher, you have to be aware of the various
learning styles of your learners and ways by which you can help them. For instance in a class with
majority of my students being auditory learners, I would make use of resources like speaker, audible
voice, etc to boost learning.

In conclusion, boost their knowledge on the use of the devices and resources to gain in-depth
knowledge due to their exposure to devices and resources. The more we keep using these resources,
the more we build knowledge on how to use those resources. For instance, a school with an ICT lab and
Science lab plus learning the theory the students
