The Kinetic Abilities
Staff guide
THIS DOCUMENT IS NOT TO BE SHARED WITH PEOPLE OUTSIDE THE STAFF TEAM.
> As a staff member, you need to follow the basic member rules as well as the staff
rules. Failure to do so will result in a strike or demotion depending on the rule
broken.
> Inappropriate behavior, toxicity, insults and slurs anywhere OUTSIDE of TKA is
allowed at your own risk. - If it’s reported to an ADMIN+ you can and will be
punished for it.
Allowed commands:
:pm
- This command can be used to warn a user by saying “:pm [User] Warning: [Reason]”.
Other than that, this command may only be used towards another member of staff, you
may only use it towards a Kinetic User / Member in game for moderation purposes.
:kick
- This command is used when a person reaches 3 warnings, you can check how many
warnings a player has by using the :warnings command.
- This command is used when a person reaches 6 warnings, this will server-ban a
player.
:chatlogs
- This command is used to moderate the chat, and gather proof of people saying
things, overall ensuring that the chat is clean and safe for all members
:watch
- This command can be used to help you find a rule-breaker (exploiter/glitch
abuser). You may use this to your own discretion.
- This command can be used to help you find previous-admin commands in-game. (Use
this when filling out an #activity-note)
Staff rules:
Abusing any command in-game or in the Discord is prohibited; abusing said commands
will result in a strike / demotion for your actions.
Act mature when dealing with serious situations, this means that no entertaining
drama.
Always maintain a professional manor, you’re to do what is best for The Kinetic
Abilities.
Do not be biased, bias behavior will result in an immediate strike for your
behavior, you should not allow people to get away with things that normal members
wouldn’t.
You have to have your DMs open all the times while working for TKA / being apart of
the staff team - Please refrain from blocking anyone inside TKA. Members have to
be able to contact you.
> This includes staff members.
You’re a staff member here at TKA, but that does not make you exempt to the rules &
regulations in #information, you’re to abide by them at all times.
If you log a ban, whether it be in #roblox-bans or #discord-bans, make sure that
you provide valid proof. If not, the person will not be banned. If you find that
someone has been banned and there is no current log for it, you may unban the
player/ask an administrator to unban them.
Warning System {Game}:
3 warnings = :kick [User] 3 warnings.
6 warnings = :ban [User] 6 warnings.
9+ warnings = :gameban [User] (Administrator+).
Once a player reaches 9 warnings, report them in #roblox-bans with proof of their
warnings, you can get proof by utilising the :warnings {plr} command.
Once the proof is gathered, they will be game-banned from TKA.
Warning System {Discord}:
Once a person reaches 9 warnings, you ban them via the:
“?ban [user] <Max warnings>”
3 warnings ➤ 12h mute. { this may depend on your actions}
6 warnings ➤ kick (They may rejoin the discord server)
9 warnings ➤ server ban (They may appeal after 1 month)
> Warnings expire after 3 months!
Ban appeals:
Once a person is banned from the game or Discord, they can appeal after 1 month,
unless it is for one of the reasons stated at the beginning of the appeal form.
( E.g. You were banned on June 1st, you can appeal on July 1st )
If a person wants to appeal, they can message a member of staff.
Then you send them this link for them to appeal:

You may notify an Administrator in #mod-general telling them that someone has
appealed, however it is not necessary but it helps!
Note: The ban appeals approval / denial is and will be up to the Administration
Teams’ discretion.
Activity Notices:
You log your patrols in game in #activity-note. Please, use the following format:
Username: [ USERNAME ]
Start time: [ YOUR START TIME ]
End time: [ YOUR END TIME]
Total time: [ YOUR TOTAL PATROL TIME ]
Proof: [ This must include the time! ]
To patrol, say “Start” when you begin your patrol and take a screenshot from
chatlogs, then say “End” when you are ending your patrol and take another
screenshot from chat logs. This proves what time your patrol started/ended and
shows administrators+ how long you patrolled for. At the end of your patrol, you
also need to say “:logs”, to show what logs you have used during your patrol.
> In order for a patrol to count, it must be 20+ minutes long.
Inactivity Notices:
If you’d like to take an inactivity notice, you can. An Administrator+ can approve
or deny your notice. If your notice is approved, then the only way you could be
demoted is via a demotion wave what will be announced by an Administrator+ in
#staff-announcements. The format for inactivity notices is:
Username: [YOUR USERNAME]
Duration: [THE DURATION OF YOUR INACTIVITY]
Reason: [THE REASON OF YOUR INACTIVITY]
Note;
If you state ‘’private’’ as your reason for inactivity, an Administrator or higher
will DM you for the reason, it will remain private, so don’t worry it will not be
leaked!
Staff Privileges:
You have the right to call help in situations. If you think you can’t handle an
issue on your own, don’t hesitate to call someone for help. Make sure the chosen
staff member is free to help and is not busy with something else that’s related to
TKA and important.
You have the right to go inactive when the reason is personal, school, mental
health, vacation, physical issues and illnesses.
You have the right to enter an argument between 2 members in general, only if your
intention is to make an end to it.
You have the right to interfere with a fellow staff member’s task to call them, if
it’s urgent. This includes but is not limited to; Raids, mass pings and heavy
fights in general.
Punishments / situations {Discord}:
Everyone needs to follow the Discord ToS. Anyone who breaks this, will get an
immediate ban in a staff member's case, they will be demoted instantly with no
chance of reapplying, Discord’s ToS is really important and a fundamental thing
here within TKA.

NSFW
NSFW also known as “not safe for work” is prohibited within our server. This
includes porn, disturbing messages/videos, people who post NSFW will receive a
warning as well as a 24 hour mute. If they say anything NSFW after being unmuted,
they will be banned.
Showing or promoting self harm, murder, gore or suicide is also classified as NSFW
content and will result in a ban.
Serious Topics
Discussing/joking about serious topics (sexual assault, cancer, pedophillia etc) is
strictly prohibited and will result in an unappealable ban.
Discussing/joking about topics like seizures/strokes will result in a warn and a 24
hour mute.
Slurs/Discrimination
If a member uses any slurs, or is homophobia, etc, they will be warned. If
continued, they will be warned again along with a 48h mute. If continued again they
will be warned again and issued with an appealable ban.
Spamming
Spamming inside the discord server is against our rules and regulations @
( #information ). To be classed as spam they must send 5 consecutive messages /
emojis inside a discord server channel.
Advertising
Advertising inside the discord server is prohibited - if someone advertises inside
Dms they are to be warned first. If they reach two warnings for DM advertising, you
are to issue an appealable ban from the Discord Server.
Audio’s / videos
If a player plays an audio / video containing slurs, NSFW or any inappropriate
audio, you are to warn and mute them for one day.
Punishments / situations {Game}:
NSFW
NSFW also known as “not safe for work” is prohibited within our ROBLOX game. This
includes: disturbing messages, vulgar imagery / messages, inappropriate content
said inside the chat.
People who post NSFW will receive a server-ban from the game as well as a warning.
If they say anything NSFW on their 2nd warning, they will be issued an appealable
ban from the main game.
Showing or promoting self harm, murder, gore or suicide is also classified as NSFW
content and will result in a ban after a warning is issued in-game.
Slurs/Discrimination
If a member uses any slurs, or is homophobia, etc, they will be permanently banned.
They may not appeal.
Serious Topics

Spamming

Administrator Privileges:
Administrators may use :to <anyone> whenever they want to without precaution, they
will be striked accordingly if they attack someone straight after teleporting as
that is and will be counted as AA. (Admin Abuse)
Administrators may use :bring on anyone, it is polite to ask them beforehand but it
is not necessary in most cases.
Administrators may use :f3x in game to sort out bugs and glitches et cetera found
within the game itself, please consult with the Head Administrator or Head
Developer if you are unsure of the bug / glitch in question.
Staff off-topic
Please chat here if you plan to chat about anything that's not directly related to
TKA moderation issues etc.
Please refrain from side-chatting / talking about non-moderational stuff in #mod-
general. Failure to do so will result in a verbal warning inside the Discord
Server.
If an Administrator or above tells you to move your conversation to off-topic,
please do to avoid clogging up mod-general with side chat!
