Introduction
This document contains procedures and operating instructions for displays and faceplates for Foxboro Evo
Control human interface.

Accessing Course 5101 Displays


All process, group and overlay displays can be accessed from the same area
1. In Control HMI, select the key labeled WINDOW on top menu bar. This calls up a matrix for
various display areas
2. Select the key labeled 5101/5102 to call up the matrix containing display category selection
menu
3. Select:
DISPLAYS for process displays
GROUPS for group displays
REACTOR_1 for the reactor displays

Calling up BlockSelect Display


1. Select the key labeled Tools from top menu bar
2. Select BlockSelect from the drop down menu

After calling up BlockSelect, you must refresh CP as shown below

Refreshing CP
1. Select CP
2. Select the Options key and then Refresh from the drop down menu.

In order to view the list of compounds and blocks in a CP, you must expand the desired CP as shown
below

Expand Controller
1. Select the + sign to expand a CP. The list of the compounds residing in the CP is presented
2. Click the desired compound to view the list of the blocks in the compound.
3. Double click the compound to call up the compound faceplate.

1. To call up a block faceplate, double click the desired block from the list.
2. To call up a PID faceplate, double click the desired PID (LC)

1. Select the magnifier icon to change the faceplate selection menu
2. Select CNTRL button to call up PID control parameters
3. Select TUNE button to call up PID tuning parameters

CALC Block Faceplate


Calculator block faceplate below shows the block is in Automatic and Unlocked (W). All 8 boolean
output statuses are also shown along with the 4 real output values.

Call Up FBTUNE Block


Calling up FBTUNE faceplate display is the same as calling up any other block detail display. The
figure below shows the PIDA block and its associated FBTUNE block Faceplates

Call Up Station Block


The station block is a special block that cannot be deleted. It calculates CP loading when activated
Call up Station Block as follow:
1. Expand the Station Compound
2. Double click the Station block
