PROJECT AIM Our aim of this project is to improve the collection of plastics and
raise awareness about the devastating effect that plastics can
have on nature and the necessity of applying 3R principles and
collecting them properly with the highest efficiency.

PROJECT In this project, we are determined to encourage households to
DESCRIPTION reuse the plastic bags they already have for collecting plastic
waste. To do so, we will need the help of young volunteers. In
order to recruit these young and open-minded people and raise
their awareness we have several plans in mind to send our
message through NGOs we have contacts with.

PROJECT IS ● Plastic waste is harming our environment harshly
IMPORTANT without even taking the citizen's attention
● Our region is suffering from improper waste
management issues which is leaving the place full of
garbage “ especially plastics “ thrown here and
there, without proper management.
● Plastics are polluting our surroundings and since
they are so persistent, getting rid of them is not
easy. They can end up in water bodies as
microplastics or other forms and even get eaten by
animals and harm wildlife and the ecosystem and
eventually us.
● People here are primarily consumers, buying things
randomly without looking for the specific reason for
it, ending up in increasing undegradable useless
products massively.
● The plastic waste issue is an over underestimated
problem in our region as if plastics have 0 effects on
the environment.

Our project is beneficial because

● By letting people know that they can easily reuse

their plastic bags, such a simple act, aligned with 3R
principles, can make a substantial change.
● Changing the traditional POV would benefit the
next generations.
● By reducing plastic waste, we can help reduce
emissions, especially since 99% of them are made
from fossil fuels.
● Protecting wildlife, because plastics contribute to
devastating effects on plants and animals.
● Strengthening the relationship between youth and
mother nature.

OBJECTIVES
● Get at least 15 volunteers to participate in the campaign.
● Change individuals' mentalities toward plastic waste and
make them sensitive to it.
● Leaving a distinctive mark on every participant in our
activities.

PROJECT ● Reduction in plastic use overall, in a way that will be

● Securing a more stable life for individuals living in the
regions that we will work on, by urging them to take more
responsibility towards their daily actions.
● Try our best to make use of the plastics we collect in a way
that inspires others, that attracts their attention.
● Making the place we live in environmentally, more
influential to the neighboring cities, which makes them
more curious to know more about our vision, leading to a
major change in the country.
● Help people feel more happy, comfortable, positive, and
empowered about combating climate change.
WHAT WILL WE ● We will recruit volunteers for the campaign by:

1- Convincing them that by cleaning up your village
you will be more appreciated locally, become more
influential, saving plants and animals' lives,
especially every good deed you do, will come back
to you in some way.

2- Trying to cooperate with the municipalities to

help us reach more individuals.

3- Publish the invitation to the campaign on social

media platforms where it will reach more and more
individuals.

● Dividing volunteers into groups, so each group takes a

different path in the area we are working on, making
the work more effective.
● We will ask those who participate in the campaign to
start changing themselves and their homes, like
reusing plastic bags while shopping, helping to reduce
by not buying things that are not helpful in their lives,
and cooking a sufficient amount for the family not

● We will encourage people to be more responsible
towards their village, society, and environment
overall.
● At the end of the campaign we will make something
useful from the plastics we collect in a way that
influences others.
● Showing people videos that are related to the
hazardous effects of plastic wastes on nature,
animals, humans, plants, and the planet overall, and
how we can overcome all these crises together.
HOW WILL WE ● The amount of plastic waste our project will

IMPACT?
● Count how many participants sign up for the
campaign.
● How many houses will start reducing, reusing,
and recycling plastics.
● Count how many municipalities accept to
cooperate with us to achieve the desired results .

WHAT ITEMS We will need :

collect like scissors, glue, strings…

We will try to ask for some donations to fund these costs to

achieve the desired results with the help of the NGOs.

We will communicate via WhatsApp, Zoom, and Google Drive.

STEP 1 We will cooperate with NGOs and municipalities, to explain to 15/4/24

them our project aim and how our project will positively impact
the region.

Task 1.1 Taking appointments from the presidents of the municipalities

and the leaders of the NGOs to have the meeting done.

Task 1.2 Taking their acceptance to be able to invite people to participate

in the campaign that we will make in the region, with their help
in doing this step.

STEP 2 Inviting participants from all over the region to join our 27/4/24
campaign.

Task 2.1 Creating posters and publishing them on social media,

municipalities' WhatsApp groups, NGOs' main Instagram page,
and Facebook.

Task 2.2 Write down the names of those who would like to volunteer or
participate in the campaign, and ask them about their acquired
knowledge about plastic waste in general, then make sure to
provide them with all the missing knowledge they should have.

STEP 3 Providing all volunteers’ needs to start the campaign. 10/5/24

Task 3.1 Asking for donations from those who hold high positions in the
region we live in, to provide participants with all their needs.

Task 3.2 Divide roles and groups, and work on an innovative plan to study
our movements and the pathways that we will take in the region.

STEP 4 The day that we are going to make the campaign in, the rally and 20/5/24
starting point.

Task 4.1 Every group will go on different pathways during the campaign,
focusing on plastic waste that is thrown on the streets, fields,
and public gardens. After finishing our goals in the region, a
truck will pass and pick up the plastics that we collect to the
place where we will start working on creating creative things
from them.

Task 4.2 At the end of the day, we will gather all the participants and we
will explain to them the importance of reusing, reducing, and
recycling.

STEP 5 Prepare films and documents that speak about how serious the 28/5/24
problem is and how all the environmental elements are affected
by plastics, and explain to them the importance of the act that
we made and how it will be able to change a lot of things around
us.

Task 5.1 Present the movie and the documents for all of the participants,
to add we will try to make a public invitation for it, to reach as
much audience as we can.

Task 5.2 Finally, thanking all those who helped us achieve our desired
results and try to keep things better and more sustainable in the
regions we live in.
