The chart below shows the amount of money given to developing countries from five
organisations from 2008 to 2011.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.

You should write at least 150 words.

The clustered bar chart signifies the changes that occurred in the a mount of money donated by
organizations to developing countries between 2008 and 2011.

From an overall perspective, it is evidently apparent that organization 2 is the biggest sponsor for those
nations throughtout the period, whose proportional statistics was 2.6 in 2011. An inverse pattern
precisely described that of the number of money of organization 4 donated.

As observed, starting at above 1.25 billion dollar in 2008, the figure for organization 2 ‘s donation
gradually rose to 1.5 billions dollars in 2009 and reached 2.4 billions dollar in 2010. A similar growth was
presented in the number of money of organization 1, whose data occupied at 0,6 billions dollars and 0,8
billions dollars, respectively. In 2009, the disparity between the quantity of money was given by 2
organizations was significant with 0,9 billion dollar for organization 1 and 1,5 billion dollars for
organization 2. From 2008 to 2011, the amount of money that was donated by organization 1 has slightly
increased and stayed at 0,7 billion dollar until the end of period; whereas that of organization 2 has
escalated to 2,6 billions dollar at the last year of the chart. Organization 3 statitics grew in 2009 and
slightly fell at 1,4 billion dollar in 2010 but was stable again at 1.5 billions dollars in 2011.
Regarding organization 4 and organization 5, the money given to developing countries from organization
5 pinnacled at nearly 1.2 billion dollars in 2008 and substantially reduced to below 0.5 billion dollars. In
addition, the money of organization 4 donated was highest in 2008 and was degreed at the end of
process at around 0.3 billion dollars.

The best way to solve traffic and transportation problems is to encourage people to live in cities
rather than suburbs or countryside. What extent do you agree or disagree?

Some people claim that only people live in cities instead of suburbs or countryside can address the traffic
and transportation problems. Although it seems logical and reasonable, I cannot entirely agree. It will
lead to other problems that are housing, moving in the city, overpopulation.

The line graph above elucidates the changes occurred in the proportional statistics of the ownership of
four types of smart devices in families in 20 years after 1995.

From an overall analysis, it is evidently apparent that Mobile phone was preferred by families more as
the figures for this category had increased over the period. A moderate rise was witnessed in that of
MP3 players users. Notably, the rate of households’ tablet ownership experienced a dramatic upsurge in
a short amount of time.

As observed, starting at below 10% in 1995, the figure for Mobile phone rose to nearly 40% in between
1995 and 2000; reaching 40% thereafter. A similar growth was presented in the percentage of using
Tablet, whose data occupied at 0% in 2002 and nearly 20% in 2008 respectively. In 2005, the disparity
between the quantity of households using the two electronic devices was significant with 80% of those
who own mobile phone and nearly 10% of Tablet owner. Both proportions continued to climb in 2010, in
which the data of Mobile Phone reached its peaks at approximately 90%. Since 2000, the percentage of
household that own Mobile phone had risen steadily from 70% to nearly 95% at the end of period. The
figure for Tablet owners sharply escalated from 2010 and peaked at over 80% in 2015. The percentage of
Computer user undergone the same pattern (experience the same rise) as that of families that use
Mobile phone as it started at about 10% and finished at 95% in 2015.

Regarding the use of MP3 Players, the starting percentage of this device has the highest position in 1995,
then rose slowly through period and stayed at above 40% at the end of chart.

Some people say that the experiences a child has before starting school have the most influence
on their future life. Others say that experiences as a teenager, especially at school, are more
influential. Discuss both views and give your own opinion?
