A keyboard with programmable key codes and multi-layer programming provides ergonomic and functional advantages by allowing users to create a layout that minimizes finger movement and reduces strain. This feature supports different key placements suitable for specific software or tasks. Additionally, multi-layer programming caters to multi-language users and offers quick access to different keyboard layouts like QWERTY, COLEMAK, or DVORAK, enhancing user productivity and comfort .

RGB LEDs provide aesthetic benefits by allowing users to personalize their keyboards with vibrant colors and effects that reflect personal style. Practically, lighting profiles can highlight frequently used keys, aiding in accuracy and speed, especially in low-light environments. For instance, customized lighting can group keys by functionality, making them more easily identifiable, which is particularly useful in complex software environments .

To reset all layers of the keyboard to their default settings, you need to press L_Alt + R_Alt together. Alternatively, resetting the current layer is done by pressing Fn + R. This process might be necessary when a user wants to clear previous customizations or troubleshoot unexpected behavior by restoring the keyboard to its original state .

Non-standard layouts like COLEMAK and DVORAK are significant because they offer alternative ergonomic benefits, such as reduced finger movement and increased typing efficiency. This feature caters to users who have specific preferences or disabilities, contributing to stress reduction and comfort. Additionally, it supports multilingual users who may be more comfortable with these layouts for typing in multiple languages efficiently .

Users can customize the lighting effects by utilizing the multi-color dynamic backlighting system. For example, pressing Pn + ESC cycles through different palette modes, and Pn + 9 or 0 enters the LED edit mode. Users can mix colors using Pn + 1, 2, and 3, or select one from the palette using Pn + ESC. This customization provides a creative avenue for users to personalize their setup aesthetically, potentially improving workflow by highlighting specific keys or sections .

The spacebar LEDs on the keyboard indicate the current layout through color variations. The left side LED changes color to show which layer is active: red for Layer 1, green for Layer 2, blue for Layer 3, and no color for the default layer. The right side LED shows the current keyboard layout: red for COLEMAK, green for DVORAK, blue for Windows lock, and no color for the default QWERTY layout . These colors help users quickly identify the current settings without referring to software interfaces.

The inclusion of 4 programmable layers significantly enhances the keyboard's usability across various tasks by allowing users to seamlessly switch between different configurations tailored to specific applications or workflows. For instance, one layer could be configured for gaming with specific macros and shortcuts, while another is optimized for coding. This adaptability reduces the need to constantly reprogram keys, saving time and effort .

The detachable Micro USB cable offers portability benefits, allowing users to easily pack and transport the keyboard without cable damage. It also provides flexibility in replacing cables should they become damaged or require different lengths. However, challenges include the possibility of losing the cable and ensuring the port endures frequent insertions and removals, which can lead to wear over time .

The keyboard features a robust design with PBT DSA profile keycaps that employ Dye-Sublimated technology, providing long-lasting wear resistance and maintaining key legend visibility. The anodized CNC-machined aluminum case with a narrow bezel offers durability and a premium look. These materials and technologies enhance the overall durability and user comfort, ensuring the keyboard withstands prolonged intensive use .

Cherry MX switches are known for their reliability, durability, and consistent performance, enhancing the typing and gaming experience. They offer tactile feedback and can be chosen based on a user's preference for actuation force and sound level. This customization enhances the user experience by allowing each keypress to feel satisfying and consistent, benefiting both fast typists and gamers requiring precise input .
