Marga Morteza witnessed the suspect stabbing his wife and provided details about his behavior, including instances of smelling alcohol and previous maltreatment towards the victim . Rolinda Alvarez, the victim's best friend, discussed the victim's desire to leave the abusive household due to maltreatment, providing context for fear and possible motive driven by possessiveness and violence . These testimonies helped highlight the suspect's violent behavior and possible possessive motive.

The victim, Flore Enchande, had a close relationship with witness Rolinda Alvarez, which motivated her desire to leave an abusive environment. According to Alvarez, Flore frequently expressed her intent to escape due to her husband's maltreatment. This relationship served as a backdrop for Flore's attempted actions on the day of the incident, potentially triggering Armando's violent response. Marites Luparan's account of intervening in past abuses further underscores ongoing domestic issues, exacerbating tensions that led to the tragic event .

The investigation reports suggest two main potential motives: obsession and violence towards his wife. Testimonies from witnesses, including Marites Luparan, indicate a history of possessive behavior and jealousy, contributing to violent outbursts. These motives are supported by the suspect's actions observed in previous instances of domestic abuse and maltreatment, as detailed by Rolinda Alvarez and Marga Morteza .

Law enforcement faced several challenges, including initially locating the suspect, who was at large after the incident. The suspect's disappearance complicated the immediate collection of testimony and delayed further investigation. Additionally, ensuring the reliability and safety of witnesses like Marga Morteza and Rolinda Alvarez, who might face intimidation, presented challenges. Coordinating evidence from multiple sources (CCTV, autopsies, witness statements) into a coherent narrative for pursuit operations also required intensive investigative efforts .

The immediate response by law enforcement was critical in preserving the crime scene and collecting crucial evidence, such as obtaining CCTV footage, securing the knife, and recording biological evidence like blood samples. Prompt action allowed for the quick assembly of witness statements, including crucial testimonies from Marga Morteza and other eyewitnesses. This timely preservation helped build a robust case while details were fresh, ensuring minimal contamination of physical evidence and reliable witness recollection .

The initial report described the incident as a stabbing that occurred around 4:00 PM at the Enchande residence in Zone 7, Barangay Sabang, Calabanga, Camarines Sur. The victim, Flore Amanda Enchande, was allegedly stabbed to death by her husband, Armando Enchande, after returning from work smelling of alcohol. Physical evidence like blood stains, hair, and the knife used in the crime was found at the scene, and CCTV footage captured the incident .

CCTV footage provides visual evidence of the crime, capturing the suspect in the act, which can be used to directly link him to the crime. Forensic examination, including the autopsy by Dr. Vincent Hidalgo, corroborates witness statements by confirming the physical injuries described, such as stab wounds and bruises. Forensic evidence offers objective data to support witness reports and can counter any defense claims, strengthening the case against the suspect by solidifying the sequence of events and the suspect's involvement .

Witnesses, such as Marga Morteza and Rolinda Alvarez, likely experience emotional stresses that can impact their testimonies. Fear, trauma from witnessing a violent event, and relationships with the victim and suspect might alter perceived accuracy in their accounts. Emotional connections to Flore might heighten the urgency and detail in their recollections. These factors necessitate careful evaluation during testimony to ensure mental states do not undermine factual integrity .

Key pieces of evidence collected included blood stains, hair found at the crime scene, and the knife used to stab the victim. Additionally, CCTV footage from cameras inside and outside the residence recorded the event. These pieces of evidence are crucial as they provide physical proof of the crime and help establish the suspect's presence at the crime scene. They also assist in reconstructing the sequence of events leading to the victim's death .

To ensure justice, collaboration with legal teams is essential to confirm the admissibility of evidence, such as CCTV footage and forensic results. Organizing all collected evidence with a focus on upholding fairness is necessary, along with preparing comprehensive legal documentation for trial. Further interrogations of the suspect and detailed progress reporting will contribute to the court case. Engaging in ethical legal proceedings will also support transparency and justice for the victim .
