PROPOSED TITLE: JOB SATISFACTION OF THE EMPLOYEES IN CAVITE STATE UNIVERSITY
CARMONA CAMPUS
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM:
Generally, the study seeks to examine the level of job satisfaction of the employees in Cavite State University.
Specifically, it seeks to answer the following:
1. what is the socio-demographic characteristics of the employees of Cavite State University in terms of age,
gender, position in the institution, civil status, years of service, employment status, educational qualification
and contribution of employment to family income? ;
2. what is the level of job satisfaction of the employees in terms of: administration and policy, supervision, working
condition, interpersonal factor and job security or salary;? and
3. what is the significant relationship between the socio-demographic characteristics of the employees and their
level of job satisfaction?

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY:
Generally, the study seeks to examine the level of job satisfaction of the employees in Cavite State University.

Illustrates the relationship between the socio-demographic profile of the employees in Cavite State University such
as age, gender, civil status, position, years of experience, educational qualification and contribution of employment to
family income and their level of job satisfaction. Consequently, the level of employees’ job satisfaction is perceived to
be related to their socio-demographic characteristics
Example: Significance of the Study
The study will benefit the university in identifying the different factors that motivate its
employees as well as the factors that affect their job satisfaction. Further, this study can help the
university in particular the Human Resource Department identify which of the factors cited should
be further enhanced and eventually can produce strategies and intervention that can further help
increase the job satisfaction of the employees. Number of studies show that as the employee
become more motivated and satisfied, his quality of work and commitment increases.
Likewise, employees will also benefit from this study since this will help them communicate
how they feel towards their working environment, administration and its policies and other
monetary rewards and incentives.
Example: Scope and Delimitation
The research will cover all the faculty and staff of campuses A, B, C, and D in Cavite
State University, Academic Year, Second semester, 2012-2013. It will examine the
different factors that make the employees satisfied with their job. The administrators
/ deans will be excluded in the study since they stand as the employer / administrator
of the university. Employees who are listed in the participants’ list but are not
anymore working the university at the time of the interview will be likewise excluded
from the study.
