Subject: Few indications about the running of your DS3 R1.
In order to start your season with your DS3 R1 the best possible way, please find below a few indications about the
running of your car:
Your DS3 R1 is fitted with the standard fuel tank. Its capacity is 50 litres.
The average fuel consumption figures are as follow:
Road: 0.12 L/km
Stage: 0.25 L/km
The shade your DS3 R1 has been painted is polar white (Citroën reference: EWP)
You will find below the characteristic curves of the DS3 R1's engine.
The maximum engine speed of the DS3 R1 is 7.000 rpm.

As the Total Quartz10W50 engine oil is mandatory in the Citroën Racing Trophies, we invite you to
replace the engine oil in your DS3 R1.
This oil is available at the Boutique Citroën Racing under the reference 0AXXQUARTZ
The amount of oil in the engine is 4.3 L

The oil used in the gearbox of your DS3 R1 is the JWS 2271
This oil is available in the Citroën network under the reference 9730 A8.
The amount of oil in the gearbox is 2.1 L
Refill of the gearbox is done via the air vent hole (Rep. A)
Filling of the gearbox requires the use of a syringe (or a fire extinguisher).
You will find in the appendix of this document the diagram of the braking circuit of the DS3 R1.
The braking circuit of the DS3 R1 does not use the standard pipes and hoses and is fully independent of
the ABS/ESP calculator.
The brake fluid used during the assembly of your DS3 R1 is the fluid Brembo HTC 64T
This brake fluid is available at the Boutique Citroën Racing under the reference 1FXXHTC64T
The braking circuit of your DS3 R1 is fitted with an AP Racing CP3550-14 brake proportioning valve.
The limitation of the brake pressure is adjusted using the knurled adjusting screw cap.
Screw cap fully screwed: minimum limitation
Screw cap fully unscrewed: maximum limitation

You will find in the appendix of this document extracts of the manual of the Sabelt automatic fire
extinguisher fitted to your DS3 R1.
The front towing eye of your DS3 R1 is located in the glove box.
When delivered, the DS3 R1 is fitted with Atech seats Extreme S2.
The dimensions of the seat are as shown below.
