Trigonometry and many other. Problem-solving skills are important for Math education because
learners are always presented real-life situations or problems that requires the application of
knowledge in math. Achieving problem-solving skills will help students view Math differently. It

As a future educator in the field Mathematics, this study is a great help for me. It gives me joy
and vision to promote and teach problem-solving skills to my future students. It enables me to
know that really, problem-solving is a part of our life and we need the skills in order for us to
solve each of our problems. It is true that most often, solving problems is the climax in a
Mathematics classroom. However, the true essence of Mathematics is for people to apply what
they learn to solve real-life problems, mathematically or not mathematically inclined.
It is a joy for me to have the opportunity to be the one educating students about problem-solving.
It is true that I can’t always guide them into solving all problems. However, it is my job, in the
near future, to develop their skills in such a way that they can solve problems on their own.
